| I got to thinking about Panty And Stocking and of course when you think about the show, that shit ending isn't far behind. The show ended in December of 2010, just before the director of the show, Imaishi, Hiroyuki, left Gainax to start Trigger. Gainax also made it very obvious that there were plans for a second season and Imashi has even said that he would be willing to do it but. Is it possible that it never happened because of Imashi's departure from Gainax. If this is the case then I think that there may be a slight chance that in the future, Trigger may acquire the rights to Panty And Stocking and make the second season themselves. Does anybody else think this could happen or is it just wishful thinking. It's not like the chance of a second season is dead at this point. DRRR's getting a second season and that finished in 2010 and Mushi-shi's second season is still going on and the original aired in 2006 |

| :O I have hope again :) They either need another person/organization to fund it for them or they need to make enough money from their other anime to fund it themselves (mostly to buy the rights Gainax has, for both cases) Or Gainax themselves will still do it, they just released a deluxe/special edition or something, so maybe they're considering it. |
