| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Mm, so more sumo matches this episode. I like how it focused a bit more other than Matsutarou this time. There's also this innocence involving the bird and nature. The match itself was kinda interesting and energetic. Same with that ending and I'm glad that Tanaka won the match. |

| When Matsutarou was walking next to Tanaka, it really shows how big he actually is, dude is built like a damn truck. I found it really cool how Matsutarou has been shown to very rarely ever get nervous if not ever at all, yet he admits he was nervous that Tanaka would lose his match. He really has started to care for the guy, and you can tell hes really trying to be a good friend, though he does suck at it. Lol Tanaka was truly the star of this episode though, I love the guy more each episode. It really goes to show how hard Sumo is if you don't have the will to go along with it, since the matches can end so fast, nervousness is really devastating. His backstory was interesting, seemed he was always the best at Sumo in his village, I think perhaps he was good then because he knew everyone, and maybe the chestnut gave him a feeling that he was home, which destroyed his nervousness. Lovely episode, might even be my favorite so far. |
| This is what I want from this anime, sumo action that isn't completely one sided. |
