Gainax credited the series "Drawn Together" as a source of inspiration when making PSG! Not shitting you, click on the links. Where it really makes sense is Drawn Together having done the exact same thing, and based on that formula, let me predict whats coming next. Drawn together, at the end of Season 3, all participated in a safety game show, and when it was all over, they were just thrown into an unemployment line JUST after saying that there would be more! Then there came the movie which avoided all logic and continuity. What I am guessing will happen is years later, maybe next year, the next season will come around and Scanty & Kneesocks will be considered fucking crazy if they ever draw recollection of the events preceeding the season. There will be a new big bad who made up the illusion of the first season's trials and the show will follow through accordingly. |

| 1. The original members of GAINAX went to TRIGGER. 2. TRIGGER does not hold the IP of PSG. 3. PSG didn't sell well = GAINAX is not gonna make season 2 (and they have no ability without the original staff). Thus, no season 2. |

| Yeah Season 2 is never happening. The show is just a parody of western animation. As much as I enjoyed it, I don't see it happening, at least not after this long. Plus as someone above said, it didn't sell very well, which means any hope for a season 2 is out the window. Oh well. |
