| This is actually a pretty sweet episode, I enjoyed it. Nice ED theme. Now that I have more cultural knowledge I think the 'Keitaro' name Kei dubs the baby with must be a reference to Kintaro. |
| a pretty sweet episode, I liked the dynamic between the kid and Kei, they were cute. The brestfeeding scene caught me off guard though |

| Back to Dirty Pair Flash. If I remember correctly, this one is fairly episodic. We start with Kei on a plane that gets attacked because there's a baby on board who is the heir to his rich Senator father. He's a target. Kei saves him during the crash in the mountains, and spends the entire time running from people trying to kill them. Yuri, impatient as ever, uses her position to get information in the airport and goes searching for Kei. She knows Kei has the baby. She finds them and Kei names the baby Keitarou. This is more action-packed than funny, though there were some funny moments. This feels like some classic Dirty Pair action, but we'll see. I barely remember this series at the moment. The opening is very happy, sung by Kouda Mariko (Yuri's voice actress), and not exactly Dirty Pair-like. The ending theme is sung by Matsumoto Rica (Kei's voice actress), and is probably the best ending theme of all the DPF series. I'm looking forward to seeing more, as it's been a long time. |
