Audio Question. Stereo or Surround?

I want to watch the show subbed and have to choose between the original 2.0 Stereo audio and the 5.1 Surround audio.
Normally, 5.1 Surround would be my choice, but the two audio tracks are different in regards to how they use the soundtrack.
For example, the opening sequence of the first episode uses different musical cues depending on which audio track is chosen.

So can anybody who has seen the show suggest which Audio track I should pick?
