| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, this episode felt slow. It has more of a buildup feeling to it as both sides reflects on the war. I guess it's break for Tokimune, Jamie, and the others before their next fight. Oh boy, Tokimune got quite a little surprise there with his party. |

| Well Suzuhiro finally got her man...sort of. And the captain is raising some serious death flags there too. I just want to point out how far this show has come in 19 episodes. I remember how we all complained about the squadron being s bunch of azzholes with Tokimune. Look at them now. |

| Strangely I found this episode ended very quick even though nothing's big happened...maybe I can personally enjoy this show now. Whoooaaaa Samonji and Suzushiro is doing that thing...? O__o never thought that Samonji is capable of that XD Hmm, Tokimune seems calm now. I wonder what he saw/felt like some flashback? Is he really okay after all? |

| Seems things are starting to unfold and it seems like the next few episodes will be bloody. I wonder what that will mean for the war and the ones who are trying to control it seeing there is a lot happening behind the scenes. Makes me wonder what will happen in these last few episodes. |
| So, Samonji really decided to pilot all the Perphevollens? I guess he still feels guilty of what happened to Reika and considers doing this as a mean of atonement. Why don't those mechanic girls get themselves hooked up with some of the soldiers if they want boyfriends this badly? They're pretty cute so it won't be tough at all. Colonel Izumi's plan to abandon the war sounds plausible, but I wonder if it'll go all that smoothly. What favor Samonji could ask him for? Party scene was bit of a comic relief in such a tensed situation. Tokimune getting face-caked was pretty funny! The moment they brought up Samonji and Suzushiro, I knew Lorenz would pull a joke like that; but to see it actually happening was quite a pleasant surprise! Great job, Samonji. You're the man! Not banging someone as hot as Suzushiro was definitely going to be a waste. :9 Good episode. Huge death flag for Samonji has been triggered. I hope he manages to stay alive though. |

| Well that was unexpected lol. I guess they had to throw a curveball at us since it was obvious Samonji was going to go with Cayenne(on the surface at least, there are way too many things hinting he's plotting harder than Cayenne) Speaking of Cayenne, am I the only one that thought he was being totally genuine when he got serious about finishing the job in the name of all the sacrifices made? I thought it was actually really nice to see that side of him. Even if he had to display that side to get what he wants out of Samonji, I'd say the feelings displayed were at least real. That actually makes me respect his character a tiny bit and care about what he is trying to do. Before it was nothing but exploiting his army for his gains/pleasures, but to think that there is something more there is quite nice. I loved the conversation between Samonji and Izumi, and the way it emphasizes Samonji's adaptability(more like ability to utilize different faces and use people to achieve his goals. I think it's really indicative of what his character is all about and, more importantly, how his development ties in to Tokimune's and outlines the necessary steps to take in order to reach his goal under the radar. |

| Episode quite slow, and I did not see anything special, the only part that caught my attention was the reaction of Tokimune with Argevollen, I wonder what it would be I do not like even of this captain Samonji, Suzushiro was behind him the whole time even though he is still thinking about the sister of Tokimune, I think this 'night of farewell' was the last of her attempt to 'hold' he I hope more action next episode, the war scenes are a highlight of the anime .. |

They fit as friends and comrades, but lovers? Cringe Worthy. A happy feeling episode this week with smiling faces next episode preview. I smell a disaster coming. |

For example, small things like Jaime being treated the same like Tokimuen for the party (seriously, they did it because they ship them as Jaime would NOT tell Tokimune XD) and we even had Jaime clean his face without any hesitation or embarrassment. |

| Everyone acted quite weird, given that they are all military personnel. Not necessarily weird in a bad way, but given how they all ignored Jaime and Tokimune acting busy, Suzushiro *running* around, Seeker citing poems, the captain literally hiding from his XO and standing in dark hangars.. I also wonder if there is any real opposition to the plans of using U-Link mechs in either of the both armies or governments. I mean, people on the same level as those guys with ties to Viltriveld, not some captain etc. Both countries, and accordingly the armies, certainly are big enough to have several generals etc. and depending on the actual government style, there should either be a real opposition, or opportunistic ministers etc. who oppose the official line out of principle . |
| If you reflect on the history that Japan has with militaristic governments, the end of World War II, and current developments regarding the Self Defense Force, it adds a little bit to the complexity of the themes that Argevollen deals with. It never was just about Tokimune, and Samonji's struggle to come to terms with Reika's death has been an important part of the story from the beginning. Samonji tried and failed to save Reika, will it be Tokimune's turn to try and save the captain now? |

| Samonji: Just had sex.. death flag triggered The rest of the episode was kinda stupid R & R surprise stuff. Honestly I wouldn't mind if no romance developed between Tokimune and Jamie. The rest of the episodes are probably gonna be Samonji going nuts in the new machine and Tokimune ending up having to save him, and then everyone going after the corporation that made Argevollen. |

| 4/5 Episode cute, nothing exceptional, the tones are very calm but arrived to discover the intentions of politicians and the military on how to end the war. What struck me most, is the rapprochement between Suzushiro and Samonji and cake in his face that he gets Tokimune! LOL Too bad that the design is not the best, but do not worry, look BD version for later. I hope there is the ending with a bang, the episodes to get it there. |

| Why am I not surprise they did that.? Mr. captain-san is still a man in the end. Seeker is like a ninja behind the scenes. I'm sure he saw what they did there oops LOL. But still I can't even imagine the process... it was awkward enough just looking at the aftermath pfft. A large part of me hopes he dies, at least contribute to make the story more interesting. I would prefer they focus on Jamie and Tokimune than those two statues though. |
