| So I'm just going around several different clubs posting my seasonal ending post and since this is a music club, i'll just stick to my music portion of openings. This has been an okay opening music season for me but...lower than past season. Since it's the only thing I'm posting here I'll go into detail on why. The way I look at openings is basically 70% the song itself, 15% the opening video, and 15% replay value Top 5 Opening Songs of Fall 2014 Season 1. Amagi Brilliant Park This has the highest replay value of all the songs of the series I've watched this season and it fits perfectly in my wheel house of the type of style I enjoy in an anime opening. I'll probably be listening to this for years to come =p. 2. Log Horizon Season 2 There is an ole saying that if it ain't broke, don't fix it and that is what Log Horizon did bringing back the database and I am so happy that they did because I just don't see another song representing this series better than database and hopefully they won't change it for Cour-2. 3. Gugure Kokkuri-san So this was my WTF comedy and for that reason it also has a WTF comedy song with a WTF comedy video. Fusing together in a WTF comedy enigma for the ages 4. Hitsugi No Chaika: Avenging Battle Now when you go from one song to the other in changing seasons, the best thing you can do is stay in the wheel house of once it came and Hitsugi No Chaika has always been a little darker in their songs and I think I like this one more than the first season. Can't say that about the show itself. 5. Akatsuki no Yona This might not have the best opening video but it has a song that has replay value and fits the era and premise of the story. It's simple but effective. Now it's your turn, is there something i didn't watch? A second season i couldn't submerge into? Or do you agree, let's have some fun music lovers =). |
