| This is my first Topic on MAL ever (okay nobody cares Lou!) When I joined the club I noticed a serious lack of music anime/manga in the relations section I can understand that this is a club for music as a whole but, heck, this is still an anime site. So here are my selections of music anime (most of them are shoujo, sorry, not sorry) Please recommend some more! |

| This is a good thread. Funnily enough this issue was bought up days ago in the staff room and is being tackled right now. Now that this thread exists it we can grab a few club recommendations rather than form the list ourselves, cheers. |
| Well considering that there are only a handful of pure music-based anime it is really hard to find one. I watched almost all pure music based anime. This year KyoAni will release a music based anime (jazz i think) entitled Euphorium. <--- hyped for this one Not really a fan of Idol Music but there are a few series out there. (e.g. Love Live (the only one I watched)) Then there are those anime with awesome ost like Bleach, Aquarion, Gundam Seed, and works of the great composer Yoko Kanno. |

| Also I'm only going to add anime I've actually seen. Because adding anime I haven't seen to the relations list just seems a bit pretentious imo. I'll try and fit your recommendations in soonish. |
| I remembered this anime called A Little Snow Fairy. Its old yes, but try it if you have time. It has some of the sweetest OSTs :) |
