Written two years after the supposed end of the main series, this gaiden volume is the last of what Ryohgo Narita wrote for the Etsusa Oohashi series. Like pretty much everyone else on the island, Li Lei also has her own dark backstory. Seems like her combat skills with a pipe were self-taught in order for her to fight away her nightmares. That gunfight though definitely got out of hand lol. A shame we won't be seeing more of this series, I'll be missing my chainsaw-wielding Jun. I'm hoping for the small chance Narita will revive the series since it is interesting enough to make me continuing reading until the end, but probably not.
