| No, not in any traditional sense of the word. This is a thing that bugs me since the novel. The author insists on calling Hestia "Big-boobed Loli" while she is very apparently not. There are big-boobed loli out there, but Hestia is so obviously too tall to qualify. His reason being that she has young face and childish look, but that's hardly enough. I also don't think a guy who write a light novel for a living in Japan can have so fundamentally misunderstand the word "Loli" like this. My theory is that he intentionally misuse it, just to put the word "Oppai Loli" on his book's back cover to boost sale. |

She is described as pretty much a loli with a huge chest so yeah I would say she counts. |

Just because YOU decided that that word's definition is different won't change the other's definition, you know. A loli definition in anime/manga/LN never had anything to do with a flat chest, that's pettanko. Simply, usually a loli will have a flat chest or almost because it's the most natural state due to her body size. You're confusing two different naming and trying to impose your view on this when it's actually completely wrong. What you're saying is akin to say that because most humans are heterosexual, all humans are heterosexual, and therefore homosexuals aren't human beings, QED. Just because you see far more one of a kind than the other doesn't make that "most often seen feature" a part of the definition. And if an author says that said character 43 years old, she's 43 years old. If an author says that human lives 200 years and have 3 arms, they lives 200 years and have 3 arms. If he says she's a loli, she is. You have no voice in the matter and since it's the author who's deciding, the only one wrong her eis you, not the author. |

| The term "loli" basically means little girl, while normally that would also mean being flat chested it's not necessarily true. Basically it means any girl with a "childish look", as for the actual age (whether she's actually a child or a childish looking adult) it doesn't matter (in other words, regardless of whether she's really a child or an adult in age, she can still be considered a loli as long as she looks "childish"). |

| I always thought a loli was a character that looked like a kid regardless of age. Shinobu from Monogatari, Shana from Shakugan no Shana, Akatsuki from Log Horizon, etc. And Ill continue thinking that way, thank ya very much. So in my book, Hestia's not an "oppai loli" so much as shes an "oppai chibi". And its like Nisioisin and the Monogatari series. He can call Senjogahara a tsundere all he wants, but he'll always be wrong unless he changes her character. |
