Chapter 1

I could hear the wind howling inside my helmet as I came to my senses. My body felt cold and heavy but not frozen. I lifted myself up and shook my head before opening my eyes and looked around. It was a complete white out, I couldn't see more than a few feet in front of me. "Where the hell...." I said quietly to myself as I stood up. My eyes scanned the area but there was nothing but snow. I sighed, shaking off the snow. Admittedly, I was scared. But for now I needed to move. This cold could kill if I didn't find shelter.

I started to walk, only to fall more than knee deep into the snow. My weight, coupled with everything I was carrying, made walking a slow and argues process. And with every step started to sap my energy away.

It didn't take long for my breathing to get heavy and soon each heavy foot step sent a shock of pain through my legs. "If this keeps up any longer..... I'll become a snowman in rags....." I said with a huff. But my next step forward sent me sliding down several feet of ice before landing flat on rock and snow. The shock had left me dazed and in a fair amount of pain.

I arched my back at the pain as I gasped for breath. The landing had knocked the wind right out of me. I ripped off my helmet and gas mask as I rolled onto my hands and knees, taking in deep breaths between coughs.

After several minutes I finally caught my breath and sat up. I looked up to see where I had fallen and to my surprise it was the entrance of a cave. The entrance wasn't that big, only a few feet but it was a sudden, and rather well hidden, drop. And yet I more or less I considered myself lucky. I picked up my things and got up.

I sighed as I looked deep into the cave. It wasn't particularly small, or narrow, but the idea of staying here was unnerving. The howling winds however told me I didn't have much of a choice. I walked in, ducking to avoid low hanging icicles.

I looked around for a moment before putting my things against the wall. I couldn't see far in but I don't think I'd need to worry about something sneaking up on me. I was quickly proven wrong. A beautiful yet curious voice spoke up from within the cave. "Oh my. What's this that's come in? A human." I looked for the source of the sound and saw a pair of glowing eyes peering at me.

These cat like eyes were low to the ground at first and they soon started to rise. I took a half step back as they reached eye level to me. After a moment the owner of the eyes stepped into the light.

"Now now, no need to run away. I won't hurt you." What appeared to me seemed like something straight out of a fantasy story. No, something straight out of the monster girl encyclopedia. My eyes widened as I looked over this beautiful woman.

She was about as tall as me with long hair that was black and white, some strands were white while the others were black. I looked down and saw her hands. They were larger than mine with distinct claws and white and black tiger stripe fur. She wore a large fur lined coat. I could see large buttons of silver holding it closed. The whole thing made her seem larger than me. The sides around her neck were up, covering half her face and the bottom reached almost to her ankles. She stood there quietly, tail swished back and forth in anticipation of my response.

I took off my balaclava, rubbed my eyes and made sure I wasn't seeing things. "Tell me... What are you?" I had to know for sure before I made any assumptions. She obviously wasn't human, but I wasn't about to say something without the right information.

She slowly walked forward and opened up the collar of her coat, letting me see her face. "I'm a jinko of the snow. Haven't you seen one before?"

I shook my head slowly. "No. Never." She was one! A jinko! A real live jinko! And she was right in front of me. I couldn't help but smile as I looked at her. She was beautiful. "Stop staring at me. It's embarrassing." She said blushing slightly.

When I saw that I looked away, my face warning up quickly. "S-s-sorry. This is my first time seeing a-a-a-a monster girl in real life. Only ones I've ever seen were in books." I stuttered.

She tilted her head slightly to the Side. "Why the identification of me being a girl?" She asked.

I paused for a moment before answering, giving me a moment to think. "Cause.... Well simply put that's what you are. A... Female monster." I said awkwardly.

She shook her head for a moment giving a soft sigh. "You aren't from around here are you?"

I relaxed and straightened up. "Nope. Not really." I said as a matter of fact. "How could you tell?" I asked smiling slightly. That last one was the smart ass in me speaking up.

She rolled her eyes. "The clothes, the accent and a few other give aways." She said moving closer to me. "Care to enlighten me on where you are from?" She asked.

I thought for a moment once more. This is where things got tricky. I couldn't tell her I was from another world out right, that'd just be weird. And this might not even be another world for all I knew. Granted it was highly likely it was but still...

"Umm.... Ok. First can you tell me where I am exactly? Cause I don't even have the faintest idea of that, first and foremost." I said, trying to by time.

By the time my sentence was finished she was right in front of me, well within my personal space. I took a half step back to put some distance between us and she spoke up. "In the mountains north of the monster friendly villages of Bjorn's valley." She took another step forward and I, another step back. "And will you stop that, I'm trying to talk to you." She said slightly annoyed.

I rubbed the back of my head. "Sorry. Where I'm from we give people their personal space, especially when we are talking. I didn't mean to offend."

She nodded and took another step forward. "Then don't step back again." I nodded and she continued. "Now. As I said we are north of the villages in Bjorn's valley. So, where are you from?"

"United States." I said calmly. She looked at me like she was having a hard time understanding what I meant. Then she smiled, as she came to a realization.

"You aren't from this world are you?" She asked looked into my eyes and watching closely.

I swallowed hard and said "No. I'm not." I was honestly a little hesitant to say that. I wasn't entirely sure how she'd react to the confirmation.

Oddly enough however she started purring. She started to walk around me. "How interesting." She said. "I've never met some one from another world before. Human or otherwise." She places a hand, or paw if you prefer, on my back and said "This should be interesting."

I watched her, knowing she probably had a lot of questions but before should could get them out I spoke up. "Before you go asking, I'd like to lay down and rest. I've been out in the snow for awhile and I'm fairly exhausted."

She stopped and gave a sour face before turning away with a tisk. "Alright. Come and find a soft rock and rest for a bit." She walked further into the cave and I followed. She soon found her previous spot and currled up on it. I sat against the wall and put my head on my knees. When I closed my eyes and relaxed I was soon sound asleep.

Chapter 2

My dreams that night were pleasant ones. They were of home and my family. But with these dreams came and unpleasant feeling in my gut. I missed them and wanted to see them again. But I don't even know if that's possible.

Odds are, I wouldn't find a way to do that. But what would I be able to do here? What could I do? These questions plagued me and before I knew it my eyes opened up. I was practically hyperventilating as I sat up from where I lay.

I rubbed my eyes and finally noticed I wasn't how I had gone to sleep. I was on the ground, laying on the jinko's jacket, or rather inside it.

As I sat there the cold wind told me something wasn't right. I looked around and saw I had been stripped down to my skives. I quickly covered myself back up and looked for my clothes. My winter jacket was folded up where my head had been and the rest of my clothes were at my feet.

I decided it would be best to stay here for now. It wouldn't do me much, if any good to go looking for her in this cold. Though luckily the blizzard had died down. All there was was a beautiful clear Sky with a full moon.

As I lay there, letting my mind wander form this and that, from my thoughts of family to the smell of that girls coat, I saw her walk in.

Her footsteps were silent and when she can in I saw her basked in the light of the moon. I couldn't help but think of how beautiful she was. And how.... Under dressed.

She was, for all intents and purposes dressed in little more than a loin cloth and a large bit of cloth wrapped around her supple breasts, covering them completely.

"H-h-hello there, where have you been?" I stuttered, my eyes scanning over her body. I hadn't noticed it before when she was in the coat but she was extremely well built. She definitely had the build of a fighter.

"Oh... No where. Just.... Out in the snow, walking around." She said taken off guard. She obviously hadn't expected me to be awake.

"Umm. Ok?" I said somewhat confused as she made her away over to me. Part of me wanted to press her further on exactly where she had been but before that. "Why am I undressed?" I asked.

She got on her hands and knees as she spoke. "You're clothes weren't exactly dry, so I took them off and kept you warm. By the way, you're welcome." She opened up the coat and straddled me like a horse.

My immediate reaction to this was turning bright red and try to get away. But as I sat up she put her hand on my chest. "I-i-i-i-I think I should get up now." I stuttered.

She shook her head. "No. You don't need to." She said softly as she pushed me right down with ease before reaching over my head and grabbing something from the darkness. When she pulled back was a rolled up blanket that she quickly unfurled, covering us both.

She laid her self firmly on top of me and rested her head on my chest. "I like laying like this. It's warm." She yawned and closed her eyes. "Good night." She said in a whisper.

I was rather stunned by the turn of events. She hadn't even let me get an argumentative word in edge wise. But when all was said and done, this was extremely enjoyable for me. I hadn't felt a woman's body like this before. But there's was a problem.

With her voluptuous body pressed against mine it made it near impossible for me to sleep. I dare not try to get up. One cause if the cold and two cause I didn't want to wake her.

And to make matters worse my manhood was eagerly reacting to her. I prayed that the button on my boxers stayed closed cause if not, this night was going to get a whole lot longer for me.

A particular thought came to my mind. I could seriously take advantage of this situation. I quickly banged my head against the floor to drive them out, though to little effect.

I resisted even thinking of doing anything. Unfortunately my hands had other plans as they made their ways onto her back.

The feel of her smooth skin was wonderful. I let out a sigh, giving in. I closed my eyes and concentrated on my hands, making sure they didn't wander anywhere. As I slowly moved them around I could feel the well developed and worked muscles under her skin, yet she was soft to the touch.

That's when I heard a low, deep rumble. My eyes shot open and I looked down, only to see her asleep. What I was hearing wasn't a growl, but a deep purr from a happy cat. Or rather tiger, as the case may be.

She was actually enjoying this. Or at least that's the conclusion I came to. With that in mind I decided to try something. As I looked down at the top her head I could see her ears. They were perked up and moving at every little sound.

For some reason or another I really wanted to touch them, though I didn't know if doing so might wake her. It might be hard to explain why I'm touching her ears of all things if she did.

But even with that in mind It was impossible to resist. I slowly brought my hand up, watching her carefully. At first my finger tips just brushed up against the back of her ear. When she didn't wake from it, i got a little more daring.

I gently rub her ear between my thumb and fore finger. The sensation was very unique. It wasn't quite like a cats ear. It had a certain fluff to it and was notably thicker. I have to admit, it was enjoyable to touch.

Unfortunately I only noticed the purring had stopped several seconds too late. I looked down and saw her eyes wide open, but she didn't move or try to pull away. She just seemed frozen in place.

However I didn't let go. My fingers continued to move, albeit slowly and every little movement seemed to get a small reaction out of her until finally she looked up and asked in a hushed whisper. "Please, don't do that...." she said in an almost pleading tone. "Those are very sensitive."

I couldn't make out much in the low light but I swore I could see her face was bright red. "Sorry... Couldn't resist." It almost seemed like she was embarrassed about. Where they really that sensitive.

"Ok. Just... don't do it again." She whispered as she closed her eyes and nuzzled against me. It didn't take her long to fall asleep once more.

I sighed softly as i laid my head back onto my jacket. As I lay there, letting the minutes pass by I began to wonder what this girl was doing way up here. I mean, isn't it strange to be all the way here up on the mountain?

And that wasn't the only question. It seemed overly convenient to meet her here and her helping so readily. Not to mention she seemed rather happy where she was on top of me. We didn't even know each others names and yet....

I was reminded of countless stories where a guy gets sent to another world and by luck he meets someone who helps them. It's just too convenient to be real. But even with that in mind I wasn't about to complain.

Unfortunately exhaustion finally caught up with me once more, which made my train of thought difficult to hold. I didn't know how late it was but given the position of the moon I'd say it was well past midnight. I closed my eyes and pet the girl on head one last time. Her purr filled my ears and I smiled. I never liked sleeping with absolute silence. With that I finally passed out.

Very nice story, not too long and unlike others, it just started. I don't have to catch up with the walls of text and I can instead watch it as it evolves.

Much appreciated! Keep this up, I will be reading.

Like the story so far, hope to see more soon.

Was toying around with the idea of having a MC enter the MSG world in cosplay gear too, guess you beat me to it :D

Your MC is already familiar enough with the MSG concept, that he immediately recognises a jinko?

Any particular reason why this story is MSGF?

And lastly; Posts: 19952 Dayum!

"I reject your reality and substitute my own." Is about what I did. I found that the island was unsatisfactory for what I wanted to do so if I do free style I can use a larger world that is more heavily based off the original monster girl source material.

Chapter 3

When morning came I was woken up to someone shaking me awake. I opened my eyes rubbed away the sleep in them, and what I saw was the jinko still on top of me. "Come on. Get up. It's morning and we have a lot of mountain to go down."

"Ahhh... come on, I didn't even get much sleep last night." I groaned. Though I failed to mention that it was thanks to her that I didn't get any sleep.

"Doesn't matter. What food I have Is starting to run low. If we don't start to go we might not make it down." She said in a serious tone. I simply nodded which brought a smile to her stern face. "Good. Now let's get up."

She got off the top of me and helped me up to my feet. I steadied myself for a second and shivered as a cold breeze made its way in. "Good lord it's cold..." I said shivering. "How the heck do you stay warm in that woman?"

The made a humming noise for a moment, as if thinking about it. "Not entirely sure." She said half smiling. "But to me this temperature is actually rather pleasant." She said as a matter of fact as she started packing her things up.

I shook my head as I started to get my pants on. "Definitely not human." I said to myself quietly though odds are she heard me given she rolled her eyes.

"Still, I don't see how that little bit of cloth can keep you warm. Granted with the coat that's one thing but with just those bits of cloth..." I said eyeing the pieces of cloth that acted as her bra and loin cloth. "Speaking of, any particular reason for the low amount of clothing?" I asked.

She stopped for a moment and looked to me. "Because I prefer to wear this over spreading my legs at a brothel just to buy fancy clothes." There was a fair amount of annoyance in her voice. "That and what money I did have i used to buy what I have now." She explained. Though after that she just went quiet.

What she had wasn't much. She had a pack to carry her things, I hadn't seen it in the dark last night, a blanket and coat. I couldn't help wondering why she had so little bit I figured asking any more would just make things worse.

As I finished getting dressed I looked to her and said "Then let me get you something. I do owe you after all. Last night would have been far worse if you hadn't been here." I hoped that this would lighten things up a little bit.

She put on her coat and slung her pack onto her back as she spoke. "Alright then, I guess. Though I don't see with what money." She had a point there, it's not like I had any cash. Still, it seemed a shame to just have her walk around in rags and a coat. "Also I'd suggest getting something specifically made for people like me. My hands and feet make wearing human clothes impossible." She added.

I nodded and walked to the entrance of the cave. "I'll be sure to remember that." It made perfect sense given what she was.

When she came to the entrance I stopped her for a moment. "Before we go I'd like to ask something. What is your name?"

"Amber." She replied. "And yours?" She asked me, eyebrow raised.

"Thomas. It's a pleasure to meet you Amber. And thank you for last night. You made an otherwise unpleasant night enjoyable and kept me warm. I really do owe you one." I said earnestly.

She smiled and started to walk ahead of me. "You're welcome. Now come on. We're losing daylight." I nodded and started to try and catch up.

However it soon became clear that it was going to be difficult to keep up let alone actually walk next to her.

She walked across the snow with ease leaving a large print where as I kept sinking knee deep with every step. Thankfully she kept her pace down to keep me close.

As she walked she looked back to me and said "So tell me Thomas. Do you have any idea how you got here?"

I stopped for a moment and took in a deep breath. Amber stopped as well and turned to me. After a moment I said "I have no clue. Last thing I remember was getting this gear on." I sighed as I tried to remember what happened next but nothing came to mind. It was just a complete blank.

As I stood there lost in my thought she walked up and put a hand on my shoulder. "It's alright. Don't strain yourself on something that doesn't matter. You're here and alive. Be grateful for that. Most might not have made it with a blizzard going on." She said with a soft smile.

My guess was that she was trying to cheer me up. Granted it wasn't the best attempt ever, but I couldn't argue with it. I was lucky to have found that cave with her inside and n it freeze to death.

I patted her fur covered hand for a moment, thinking about her words and finally nodded in agreement. "Alright. But what can I do from here on?" I asked.

She took her hand off my shoulder "I don't know." she turned around to start walking again. "But if you want you can stick with me. At least until we get to a village." She said looking over her shoulder and offering her hand to me.

I took her hand without hesitation and walked up next to her with a smile. "I'd like that." However, part of me really wanted to ask if I could stick around further than just the next village. But I didn't want to impose on her either.

I won't lie, part of me was scared. Scared at being alone in this new world. Even if we just met she was the only one I knew right now. But I figured she probably wouldn't want to take care of some greenhorn she just met.

Apparently I wore my emotions on my sleeves cause she seemed to take quick notice of my worry.

"Is something wrong?" She asked me. I shook my head and took a deep breath.

"No. I just don't look forward to be void of your company." That was about as much as I was going to say though she seemed to tell I wasn't giving the whole truth.

She started to pull me along by the hand as she spoke. "Don't worry about something like that. We've got a while before we actually make it anywhere."

I smiled slightly at this and tried to keep up. It seemed to me like she was going out of her way to cheer me up. Though maybe I was reading to much into it.

"Well, till then why don't you tell me about your world while we walk. It's not every day you need someone from someplace so far away after all." She said with genuine interest in her voice.

I smiled and and quickly replied "I'd be more than happy too." I was actually rather happy with the prospect. I soon started to tell her all about where I had come from as we headed down the mountain.

It's fairly nice story, even though it could use few more breaks to make the conversation easily readable.

I had to Google what Jinko actually suppose to be. Assumed protagonist comes from the world where Jinko's commonly exist and he able to recognize then, trapped in Another World trope is completely unnecessary for the story, especially if it isn't tied by rules. Other start may have been used. Bonus points if you reveal that original world is the one where Jinko's also exist.

I've made some investigation about the source material and it seems to be heavily pornographic, which doesn't really fit for what I've seen in this story so far.

Otherwise, I like this story. Maybe, I am going to enjoy it even more. After reading a few stories made so far I concluded that starting the MSGF story may be actually a best option. So called "shared universe" consist too many stories that are mutually exclusive with so many loop-hole and Rule Lawyering abuse that it caused many conflicts in the past. I am starting to be even more scared of commenting on other stories.

I am looking forward to read the story.

I actually hope you are going to write the story that is completely unique. Free yourself completely from restrictions of the other option and create the universe that is completely yours, not just a mere copy.

Good job and good luck.

The source material is pornographic however I want to have a story that isn't completely revolving around getting laid. Also I didn't like the idea of other people telling me what I could and could not do In my story. This solves a lot of problems and gives me more freedom to work with.

You could make an analogy to a RPG computer game where Free-Form and MSGS represent single player mode and MSGC is the MMORPG. The latter gives a lot of opportunities for interaction and cooperation, but there are also always people who just mess up your day.

Chapter 4

I brushed the snow off a downed tree and planted my butt on it as I took off my helmet and placed it next to me. "Fuck me that was a long walk..." I said breathing hard from the walk down. It was practically dusk by now.

We had walked for a good few hours and while most of it was consistent we had to climb down a rather long drop off that I nearly fell down. Lucky me Amber saw it first and had the good sense to grab into my britches. And then after that we ended up in the area just above the bottom of the mountain which came with its own terrain problems, though I was loving the fact the snow was thinner. I didn't sink every step I made now so even if I had to worry about branches, logs, and moss I could at least move fast and didn't have to worry about having my lower half wet and frozen.

Amber strided past me and started to clear the snow from the ground with her feet. "You are going to have to get used to that you know. We don't have a horse and I am not carrying you on my back." She said in a rather annoyed tone.

I could guess why. While I had been talking about my world I had also been complaining and she was probably sick of listening to it by now. Not to mention what little food she had had left ran out quickly and we were both hungry.

I nodded in agreement. "I know that. It's not like I plan on being carried down the mountain. I've just... I haven't done something like this in a while." I explained. And I wasn't exactly in the best of shape either.

She sighed and looked to me as if she was about to say something. But before she could I stood up and started walking into the woods.

"Where are you going?" She asked quickly before you got I far.

He turned to her for a moment and said "Going to get some fire wood. I imagine we're going to need a fire tonight. It's not like we've got any shelter this time."

She paused for a moment of thought before nodding. Perhaps she might enjoy being alone for a bit.

I turned and started to walk again when used heard her speak up. "Just be careful out there ok?" She said in a worried tone.

I waved as I walked and said "Don't worry. I'll be fine Amber." I had a small smile on my face as I distanced myself. Her worry admittedly made me feel a little better, though not too much.

The further into the woods I went the more I started wondering if Amber would put up with me for much longer. I've lost more friends to my personality than anything. I simply don't know when to shut up or drop things and in this instance my whining is pushing her away. I hated that feeling. I was causing my only friend here to hate me cause I'm being a wuss.

I stopped for a moment and looked an unfamiliar sky. It was completely clear and beautiful. Not a cloud in the sky and all the stars were out. But most notable was a large full moon.

But as wonderful a sight as it was it wasn't the skies of my home. Not my moon, nor my stars. I closed my eyes as I felt a surge of anger and sorrow flooded over me.

"God Damn it." I said through gritted teeth. With that I finally snapped. I clenched my hands into tight fists and took out my frustration on the nearest tree. My fist slammed into the bark full force sending a Shockwave through my arm, and yet it didn't faze me for a moment. Without missing a step I continued to pummel the tree.

"FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!" I shouted at the top of my lungs along with a variety of other profanities. I mean come on! Who can blame me for being frustrated! I'm stuck here in God's know were away from my friends, my family and all that I knew, not to mention I was driving away the only person who I could call a friend in this world.

"FUCK ME GOD DAMN IT!!!!" after several more minutes and a pair of bloody knuckles later I finally called down. I slumped against a near by tree and tried to breath the fire out of my lungs.

As I sat there I looked over my hands and wondered what I should do from here. The skin was damaged from the bark and it was bleeding pretty badly.

Lucky for me my knuckles felt numb for the moment but they made a thousand promises of pain later.

I looked to the sky's once more and sighed. Despite the outburst I couldn't help but think how beautiful the the sky was here now that I had calmed back down. It had a clarity that I had only seen in pictures of places far away from civilization.

"Beautiful isn't it?" I jumped at the voice and looked at where it was coming from. It was Amber. Had she heard me from that distance? I hoped not. That wasn't exactly something you wanted someone seeing.

I nodded and said "Very. It's actually a really rare sight for me though. Back home the night sky isn't so clear. All the lights from the cities and all." It was actually kind of depressing when you thought about it, not being able to see a sky like this at your home.

She made her way to me and gently took hold of my hands. "Well that's too bad. But at least now you get to see it completely." Her voice was soft as he spoke while looking over my skinned knuckles.

"Perhaps." I replied. I didn't however mention the fact that I wished for the skies to be the one of my home, rather than the skies of a another world.

However my thoughts were quickly changed as she started to lick my hand. My face quickly turned red as I watched her do this. "W-w-what are you doing!?" I stuttered in suprise.

She looked up from my hand for a moment, spitting off to the side. "I'm trying to clean off the damaged skin and whatever might still be there, don't want to have you get sick after all." She explained before returning to what she was doing.

As much sense as that did make it was also embarrassing, and slightly painful. I learned fairly quickly that her tough was rough and with every lick she managed to get a wince out of me. It definitely wasn't as rough as a cat but it was rough enough to be extremely uncomfortable on my hands.

After several unpleasant, and rather quiet, minutes of this she finally finished cleaning the dead skin from my hands. I looked over the pink and stinging flesh. "Thanks. It certainly doesn't feel any better but it looks a lot better."

She nodded, spitting off to the side one last time. "Don't worry about it. I'd prefer not having you get sick up here on this mountain. Wouldn't exactly do either of us good."

I nodded in quiet agreement. Getting sick here by this point couldn't be any less than a death sentence right now.

She lifted herself up and I did the same. "So. Any chance we could get me fire tonight?" I asked. Even through the winter clothes I as wearing he cold got out me. By now, a fire seemed like that Damn good idea.

"Yes. But we will need some dry tinder and logs." She said, immediately bringing up a problem. I looked to my hands then to her.

"Umm.... I don't think I'll be able to do anything for he logs." I doubted whether or not my hands could hold anything of weight.

Amber gave a sharp snort with a quick smirk. "Who said you'd be carrying it?" She walked past me, her tail swaying back and forth and with an about face she said "I'll be the one taking care of he logs. You just get the tinder, ok?"

With a smile of self satisfaction on her face, and the tone of voice she had, I wanted to protest and argue. However I couldn't. I closed my eyes and sighed as I came I a stop. "Alright."

"Hehe. Good." She responded. "I'd suggest getting the tinder and going on ahead while I get the wood." It seemed as if she wanted to how her strength and reliability, though I wasn't entirely sure why.

With a quick nod I started I walk ahead as she started go over to some of he near by trees.

"Don't take too long alright." I said turning to her quickly. "I don't want to get too lonely out here." I smiled as she turned to me and did the same. "Alright. I'll be as quick as I can then."

With that I headed back to our little camp site. Granted it wasn't much of the camp site but I wasn't sure what else on all it. Along the way I grabbed sticks here and there, being careful not to harm my skinned hands.

In truth it wasn't that bad of a walk back. The snow was thin and easy to walk through and it was pretty much a straight path back. I took he opportunity to get any little branch and twig I could handle.

Once I made it back I noticed that Amber had taken he time to spruce up the area. The snow had been cleared out in a large circle and a large log placed near by to act as a seat. I placed my kindling in the center of the circle and took a seat, letting out a sigh.

As I thought back I remembered my sibling, my mother and grandparents, I wondered what they were doing. Were they worried about me? Looking for me? They probably were but they wouldn't find me. I wasn't even on the planet anymore.

My memories of my last day with them rushed to the front of my mind. That day I had woke up early and the day had gone as usual. I played my video games, did my chores, fought with my siblings, argued with my mother and grandmother and got forced to help my grandfather fix the car.

I complained a lot living at that house and more than once got a smart mouth with everyone there and I had wanted to move out but I never wanted to be completely away from them. I mean as infuriating as my family could be I still loved them and didn't want to be too far. I would have been close enough to see them. But now, I probably wouldn't be able to see any of them again.

My heart felt like it had sunk in my chest. "God Damn it...." I said quietly to myself as the full weight of my sorrow fell on me. I not once uttered a whimper but I could still feel years roll down my cheeks. I looked to the skies above.

"Why the hell am I here?..." I asked as if expecting an answer. But just as it should be there was no answer. I was here, for what reason I don't know. All I can do right now is make the best of my situation. I wiped my tears away and rested my head in my hands.

I sat like that simply clearing my head. With all that was happening and all that was going on my mind was going everywhere every second. I needed to calm down and get my head on straight. My mind can up with situations far worse than the one I was in and in truth it put me at ease. It meant that while my situation was bad i could have ended up worse. Before long I heard Amber make her way in. "Well good news, we have enough wood to last the night." She said putting her wood into a pile. When she saw mine she looked to me saying "Didn't I say to just come ba....." She stopped and looked at me for a moment before kneeling in front of me. She had a worried expression on her face as she asked me in a soft, worried voice. "Hey, Is something wrong?"

I shook my head. "No. Just a bit tired." I raised my head and have a soft sigh. Amber put a hand on my head and stood up. "You're a bad liar. But you obviously don't want to talk about it, whatever it is." With that I gave a small huff and lifted myself up. "Sorry. But for now let's just get a fire going and get some sleep. I really am tired." She patted my shoulder and nodded. "Alright then." She smiled and turned away from me. "Grab some of the smaller sticks and help me get this going." I brought myself and stretched for moment before doing as she asked. I had to be careful will my hands cause of earlier so I wasn't particularly fast with this but I got a good stack going.

Amber pulled a piece of flint and steel from inside her coat pocket and got to work with some tinder. It didn't take longer for her to get the fire going and it was easy enough to build it up. I sat myself close to it so that I could stay warm and tend to the fire. Amber kept to be other side and seemed to be starring at it closely. This was a far cry from last night when she was literally sleeping on top of me.

I looked at her wondering what to say. As things were right now I wanted to be close to someone right now honestly. Despite what I said earlier I was upset and simply sitting here wasn't going to do anything for me. "Amber?" I said to get her attention. She looked up to me and replied "Yes?" I took a deep breath. "I lied earlier, I am upset." She raised and eyebrow to this. "I figured as much. Care to tell?" She started to scoot over to me. "Well... How do I put this?" I scratched my head for a moment. "Right now I'm away from my home, my family and I don't even know why." This would probably just sound like belly aching to her but if she'd listen I wouldn't complain.

She had moved herself close to my side, her shoulder rubbing against mine. "Let me guess, you aren't from his world are you?" My head shot to my right and my eyes focused on her for a moment. "How did you?...." She smiled. "There are a lot of rumors and legends of hero's of old that used to be summoned from other worlds by the God's to fight against monsters. Honestly though, I never thought them to be true. Yet here you are in your strange clothing and no idea how you even got here." She... Was right on the spot with this. "You're accepting it that easily?" I asked her smiling a little. In truth I don't think even I could accept something like that quickly, even if it was true.

She shrugged at this "Do you see any other explanation?" She asked. I couldn't deny she had a point. "Besides I doubt that it would be the strangest thing given how both the God's AND the demons are in his world." She said. I nodded and put my head back on my knees. "Perhaps. But it doesn't explain why I'm here. I'm not a hero of legend or anything like that. All I am is an inadequate human being." I signed saying that knowing it was true.

Amber reached around my shoulder and pulled me closer. "Well, All I can say is I disagree. You managed to survive coming down the mountain and you obviously have something going for you for you to be brought here. And I'm sorry you got taken away from your family. I can't imagine what you're going through. But you can't let that bring you down here. Not now." I leaned over slightly and rested my head on her shoulder. "I know." I closed my eyes and I felt her rest her head on top of mine. This felt good, being close like this. It was pleasant. "Why don't you get some sleep? You could use it after today." Amber said softly. "Ok." I replied. My body shifted itself so I could be comfortable were I was. I closed my eyes and whispered "Thank you." I was lucky. She was here to help me in this world. At least for now. I hopped that she wouldn't leave as I drifted off to sleep once more.

I would suggest to work on structure a little more, single direct speech on single line for example, it looks a much better than cluttered into the chapters. Apart of that, your story is flowing nicely. I am looking forward your next chapter

Guess she likes you after all.

Due to this story being MSGF we don't know if the mamono/men ratio here is as skewed as in MSGC, perhaps here you actually gotta work to impress the girl :P

That's more or less the truth. The make to female ratio is much more balanced in this world.

Chapter 5

The night was quiet but cold. Even in my dreams I felt it seep into my bones. Admittedly, it felt as if it was the coldest night of my life. I only had one source if warmth to keep the frost at bay and i held it close, as if I feared the cold itself. But eventually the the warmth left me and before I knew it the cold took hold and I felt a jolt in my heart.

The jolt woke me up with a start. I gasped for air as I shot up. My eyes darted around for a moment as I tried to remember were exactly I was. As I looked over the landscape it finally came back to me, I was on the side of a mountain. My mind cooled as I took deep breaths and layed back. I looked down and I saw Ambers coat in my lap. I took hold of it and stood up.

As I draped it over my shoulders I took a deep breath and stretched out my muscles. The cold air stung my lungs, waking me up and ensuring I wouldn't fall back asleep any time soon. I exhaled and walked over to the fire, or what was left of it. It had long since gone out and been coverd with snow, what fire wood we had was covered too. "No fire for me. Wonderful." I sighed and looked around me, trying to find any signs of Amber.

Unfortunately I was no tracker. Any of the signs she may have left were invisible to me. So, I did the only thing I really could do. I cupped my hands around my mouth and shouted "Amber! Where are ya?!" Yeah it's not the most creative thing to do sure, but it's not like I was trying to hide my presence or anything.

I kept quiet for several moments, listening for anything that might tell me where she was. There was nothing. No calling back, no sound of snow crunching under foot, not even the snap of a twig. I shouted again. "Amber! You out there?! Give a shout if you can hear me!!!" But again, there was no response. 'Where could she have gone?' I asked myself, my head looking back and forth for any sign of her.

I sighed in silent frustration. Admittedly, I was feeling lonely without her around and it was messing with me. Thoughts of what I should do went through my head. I could stay put and hope she comes back, but when that would be I didn't know or I could go out and try to find her, though if I did that I might get lost or worse freeze to death out here. Neither prospect sounded pleasant but I decided to play it safe and stay put where I was.

As time dragged on I became more and more restless. I paced back and forth out of habit. I went to crack my knuckles and felt rough scabs and small droplets of blood. That's right, I had skinned them the night before without thinking. They were more or less scabed over but all the moving around had cracked them and small droplets of blood were falling to the ground, though I didn't feel much stinging thanks to the cold. As I sat there going over my knuckles I heard the light snap of a twig behind me.

I turned around fully expecting Amber to be the one behind me. "Took you long enough to get back Amber. Where did you... " I stopped half way through my sentence when I saw it wasn't Amber at all but a long eared girl with long black hair dressed in winter clothing. I couldn't make out her face thanks to a scarf she had wrapped around her neck and lower face.

As I stood there I thought about what exactly I should do. Admittedly I was surprised to see some one else on the mountain, I would have thought most would stay further down it. 'Well, no need to be rude. I should say something at least.' I thought to myself.

I went to speak but before I could say a word she stepped forward and in and instant she was inches away from my face. For an instant I looked into her eyes. They were a beautiful shade of purple but it seemed as if she was upset. Once that moment went I felt a sharp pain in my gut. Looked down I saw her hand clasping a dagger, the blade half way into my abdomen. She pulled me into an embrace with her free arm and said "I'm sorry, but you need to die."

I was frozen in place, my body completely numb. My gaze locked on her as she released the blade and took a step back. After what felt like an eternity, the numbness was replaced by a searing pain, spreading outwards from the point of entry. My stomach muscles involuntarily clenched around the knife as what felt like fire raced through me, sending me to my knees. Tears welled up in my eyes, and I began to shake. With every heartbeat, I could feel nothing but the pain. Instinct told me to pull the knife from my stomach in an attempt to relieve the agony.

I looked up to her as she pulled another blade from her coat. She seemed to have every intention of killing me here and now. "Don't fight. It'll only hurt more if you do." She said mournfully as she placed a hand atop my head and pulled her other arm back, readying to deliver the killing blow.

But in that instant she tried to cut my throat open something smashed into her head, knocking her off her feet. Her hand no longer on my head I fell forward catching myself with one hand and gripping my stomach with the other. I looked up and saw my savior was non other than Amber. She was covered in cuts and bruises but seemed to pay them no heed.

She pulled me up to my feet and shouted "Run!" giving me a solid push as she turned to face my assailant. She didn't need to tell me twice. Despite the searing pain of the blade in my stomach it turned and ran as fast as I could away from the fight.

My legs moved as fast as they could through the snow and trees and I didn't pause to look back. I had no want to see what was behind me, I just wanted to get away. But with the blade in my stomach my legs quickly started to turn to lead and my lungs felt like they were on fire. With each step I felt little more than searing pain spread through my body.

Every obstacle I tripped me up and forced me to exert myself more and more. Finally, I collapsed to my hand and knees, huffing and wheezing. My body shook like I had done a mile long sprint and I wretched up what little was in my stomach. As my arm began to buckle under me I pushed myself over and rolled onto my back.

Arms and legs spread out I layed there, feeling every inch of my body scream in a fiery pain that radiated from the dagger. But after several minutes of laying there I tried to move. No such luck though. My limbs felt numb and my body cold. I closed my eyes as I tried to breath the fire out of my lungs and slow my racing heart. After a few moments of this I finally started to go in and out of consciousness.

Moments before I passed out I saw someone move into my line of sight. It was a young girl, dressed in all black. She kneeled down and said "You poor, cowardly creature. You ran from a fight and left your only friend alone to deal with it...... But don't worry. Many from your world did the very same." She smiled and leaned forward. "But unlike them, I will make you forget your fear, and become a beast." She kissed my forehead and I felt myself completely fade away into darkness, yet I felt at peace. There was no pain, there was no exhaustion. Only peace and quiet

To whom it may concern.

I am currently working on fixing up, and over all rewriting my stories to make them more flued and easy to read, as well as rough out some corners. I do hope my few readers will not be too inconvenienced by this. Also, heads up. Next chapter should be up soon.

What's the name now then? Back-edits are really confusing if done several times with only small details changed.

Considering how little changes I've noticed, it probably still is a telltale of Gary Stu, even though I can't tell for sure. Generally every story that focuses on how cool character and how he does thing even way cooler is telltale of Gary Stu, even though there are stories that did that also way more than you did in shorted time interval. (edit->)Gary Stu is (sometimes it is called Marty Stu) is trope name for certain types of character. Avoiding those two names (I.e. Marty or Gary) doesn't change anything on what character is or where story might lead. Similarity between story protagonist's name and your real name is also irrelevant in this. (<edit)
I am however not sure if that is necessarily a problem.
Last time I've said that about the other story, entire club wanted to burn me on stake.
If you take examples from professional scene, majority of comix characters ever made are Gary Stus, even though some more than others.

The name was mine, hence why I changed it and for me this isn't a story about how cool the main character is. But how things progress from here on out.

Chapter 6

As I lay there in the middle of the forest my mind sluggishly tried to make sense of that girl and what she had said. Unfortunately any form of thinking was practically wasted. After only a few moments I couldn't even really remember what I was trying to think about. I finally just gave up on thinking and fell deep into the quiet darkness of my mind. I felt no cold, pain, or exhaustion. Just warmth and comfort.

It quickly came to an end however as I felt something pulling me along. Despite the numbing cold I could feel everything that passed under me and hear the crunch of snow under foot over the wind. Though that quickly changed.

It didn't take long for the situation to deteriorate, fast. The wind grew louder, howling like a banshee in my ears and where I once saw trees and the sky I saw nothing but pure white, not unlike when I first got here. That's when all movement stopped.

It wasn't long after that I saw who had been dragging me through my waning and spotty vision. It was Amber. Her cheek was bruised and I could make out a few more bruises on her arms and even several deep cuts, wrapped but still bleeding.

She spoke as she started to undo my vest. I couldn't make out what she was saying however as her voice was drowned out by the harsh wind. 'Shame I can't read lips.' I though to myself. But even if I couldn't I could i could see she was working on my injury and in a very distressed state. I couldn't blame her with all that's happened.

That's when I felt something sweep over me. I started to feel unbelievably tired. Exhasted to the point of not being able to keep my eyes open any longer.

I bit my tongue in an effort to keep away. I couldn't fall asleep. Not here. Not with Amber trying so hard to help me, and especially not with an enemy possibly near by. I had already run away before, I sure as hell wasn't about to run away from life either.

However fighting off death is not as easy as it sounds. Will power alone can only take you so far. I raised my head up as best I could and touched her now bloody hand. She quickly looked up at me from my injury, she was mid trying to bandage it up with medical supplies I had only seen in my world. Strange to see that here but I wasn't about to question it right now.

"Amber......" I said weakly. I saw one of her ears twitch at her name and I knew she had heard me though she didn't respond. She just kept on trying to clean the wound and stop the bleeding. "Amber...." I said again, this time a bit louder. This time she looked up and spoke for a moment before going back to my wound, though I couldn't hear her.

Finally though I gave out. I let out whatever air was in my long and went limp. I hoped I had only passed out but that did not seem the case. I felt like I was floating in water, weightless and surrounded by nothing but darkness.

It did not seem like heaven nor hell, but rather just an abyss by witch there was no return from. In truth it had a certain peace about it and the thought to forget all worries and accept my fate was at the fore front of my mind. It'd be easy to give up right now and have no more worries.

"So you'd do that? Just give up and leave a crying girl along in a blizzard? Give up on trying to get back to your family and friends and let them know you're ok? If so then you really are just pathetic...." I didn't even give much of a reaction the voice. Not much point given my position. But even so I responded.

"It's not like I can do anything about it. I'm dead, aren't i?" The voice did not respond to my question immediately but when he did he asked me a single question.

"Are you willing to give up your humanity to cheat death?" Ignoring my question he got straight to the point and with that I simply laughed. It was funny hearing such a question.

"Sure thing!" I replied with a grin on my face. "What is humanity past being human? Not much. So sure thing take my humanity and let's wake up!" I said almost tauntingly. Cause really I thought I a stupid question. In hind sight though, it might not have been the best choice.

The voice growled and spoke in a booming voice "Then hold no regrets and become like me!" And before I knew it I was back in my aching body. But I could not speak from here. Only scream in pain.

I looked down and watch with a shocked Amber as my legs stretched out, skin and muscles ripping and tearing as they did. They became elongated and much larger than they ever should have been and yet the transformation had shown no signs of stopping. Soon enough my upper body was going through the same painful metamorphosis. I couldn't help but scream as a pool of blood formed under me.

That scream however quickly changed as I my head finally started to change. It became deeper and more powerful and plenty loud as my head elongated and changed.

Soon my thoughts turned to only the simplest of instinct. To fight. I lashed out at anything I could to try and bring the pain to a stop. I just wanted it to stop and that was all that occupied my mind.

However before I could do Amber any harm she had me on my stomach and in a very solid head lock as I squirmed and writhed around. And yet through the blinding pain, thick smell of blood and b the sound of bones and muscles snapping I could hear her. She was whispering into my ear in as soothing a voice as she could muster "You'll be ok." Right into my ear.

It did nothing to the pain but it was soothing, if not for the body than for my mind. Those simple words, You'll be ok. They did something, cause for a brief moment I stopped moving and with that she got a better grip on me and cut off all air and blood circulation to my brain and before I knew it I was out once more

Chapter 7

As I laid there face down in the red snow very little seemed to matter, if only for a brief moment. Luckily that changed as I regained consciousness from Amber's hold but before I even opened my eyes I knew something wasn't right.

The wind sounded louder, the stench of blood was thick in the air and it seemed as if i could pick out the individual scents themselves. My body felt warm despite the bitter cold and howling wind didn't even bother me, as if I was wrapped in a thick coat. I felt non of the pain I had previously endured and above all else I felt energized. There was no fatigue or tiredness I could speak of and in all honesty I felt like I could run miles. With all this in mind i couldn't help but wonder what had happened to me and why. But as it stood I couldn't just sit here and think about. For now I had to focus on one thing, getting up.

As I finally opened my eyes I was met with the weirdest of sights. My nose. It was at the end of this long furry snout and was black as coal. I reached up and to feel it and what came into sight wasn't my arm. It couldn't have been. It was thick, muscular and covered with fur and the hand attached was clawed with soft pads on the palms and inside of the fingers. I stared it in disbelief as I pushed myself up with my free arm. This was, without a doubt, freaky. I rolled myself over a bit and sat down for a moment as I looked finally looked over the rest of me.

My legs, once human, now had the bends one would see on an animals leg and were both longer and stronger than what they had originally been. My foot was no longer a foot but rather a padded paw of considerable size to match my legs.

My breathing sped up as I continued to examine the rest of me, from my now fur covered chest to the tail that was now behind me. It wasn't long till I was starting to hyperventilate from the weirdness. With all that was I came to a very simple conclusion, I wasn't human anymore.

That thought was not a comforting one as I soon started to hyperventilat as I grabbed my head. "This... this isn't h-happening.... this isn't happening! This isn't happening!!!! THIS IS NO HAPPENING!!!!" I was quickly freaking out. "I'M STILL HUMAN!!!!" I shouted to the winds. I swear I could hear them whisper back in my ear. "no...."

My newly formed claws were digging into my scalp, cutting deep and drawing blood. This, however, did not wake me from my panicked state and for a moment it seemed as if nothing could. This was quickly proven wrong though as the winds carried with them the faint sounds of a fight.

My ears flicked and turned on their own as they picked up the sound, moving on their own accord. Once tuned in though it became much easier to hear them clearly. I could hear as blows landed on solid objects and the ragged breathing of at least one individual. The fight was one sided for sure. This is what broke me from my trance and made my head shoot towards it's direction.

"Amber...." My lips spoke unconsciously. My saviour in these lands was most likely fighting while injured. This certainly wasn't good. I had to help her, I owed her for saving and protecting me in those moments.

My body acted first, before I could consciously think about it. I was up and off the ground in a heartbeat, trying to run towards the sounds though with limited success. My first step I started to tumble and had to catch myself yet I didn't stop to catch my balance. Rather I moved forward using my arms as well as my legs to keep myself from falling over. This sense of unbalance most likely came from my new feet and legs, something I had yet to get accustomed to, it certainly would make things interesting.

Thanks to my new found strength and stamina however I had little trouble moving in such a way, quickly covering distance without feeling greatly fatigued or out of breath. This was certainly a new and very welcome development. For now.

Soon my nose was picking up the smell of blood, both old and new but all from the same person. This did not bode well but so long as the sound of the fighting continued I knew she was still alive and fighting.

Closer and closer I got, following my ears and nose to pinpoint where she was and soon enough I was on top of her, so to speak. Charging up and over a large pile of snow I jumped to make my way over and saw the two below me, a now more scantily clad female ninja and a bloody and bruised Amber, both locked in a struggle and I was certain they saw me very clearly as I saw eyes of disbelief in both of them.

Quickly I tried to stop myself as the ground got close, quickly failing as I rolled and smacked back first into a tree, the movies always made stuff like that look easy. Reality said otherwise. With a growl of sorts in my throat I picked y self up on all fours, baring my teeth as I started to eye my enemy like a wild animal. Before I could truly react though she was gone and jumping from tree trunk to tree trunk right at me.

My eyes, as good as they were now, could follow her but my body couldn't and before I could block her a searing pain went across my left shoulder and down my back as she appeared behind me, her blade already done cutting through my shoulder and ribs in a single go.

I quickly collapsed at this as my left arm gave way. Using my good arm I tried to turn around and meet her, only to find her right in from of my face, driving her sword right through my throat and for a moment I felt.... cold. Things seemed to come to a crawl as I felt my heart begin to sputter and my blood ran cold at the memory of what this woman had done to me.

She gave a push, forcing the blade clean through and pinning me to a tree, blood quickly filling and spilling out of my mouth from the act. Earlier my death had been the most painful thing I had ever felt, this was a close second as all my nerves fired at full bore, telling clearly I was hurt.

That's when the kuniochi spoke as blood sported from my mouth at an attempt to breath. Quietly she said "You poor creature..." her eyes spoke differently than her intent, showing pity and sadness in them. "You survived that... both my attack and the witches transformation... I must apologize to you again. I failed to kill you before she could finish her work. Now here you stand, no longer a man but a beast in pain."

Realising one of her hands from her sword she raised it up and gently patted what was now my nose. The touch... it was soothing. It slowed my beating heart as she held my gaze with her own. I didn't move, I didn't struggle, I only listened. "But it is alright now, for I shall end your suffering as fast I am able. You will no longer suffer, and hopefully, be a man in the next life, rather than a beast." And with this she twisted her sword and cut out the side of my next in a single pull, spurting blood off to the side as she did.

I fell to the ground in what seemed like slow motion, the effects of her touch still active. Once either hit the snow covered ground she swing her blade aside, flicking off the blood before sheathing it. That when she strangest thing. Clapping her hands twice she stood there, hands clasped as if she was praying over my body before finally disappearing into the winds.

Truly, this was a strange thing for me. Dying twice in a single day wasn't something one did. Yet her I was, bleeding from enough open wounds to kill in seconds. Yet unlike before I simply felt paralyzed, rather than the stinging cold of death. But there was pain for sure. My beck and neck throbbed as blood pored froth from my wounds, soaking the snow and ground beneath. By all rights it was enough to have me die easily, yet here I lay, very much alive though nearly decapitated.

That's when I remembered something, the reason I had even run down here. Looking up I could see amber slowly making her way over to me on all fours. Her cuts bleed unmercifuly and her bruises showed clearly. She shouldn't have been moving and I tried to say so, yet that proved impossible right now.

Once close enough to touch me she reached out with her padded hand. "Oh Thomas.... what has happened to you?..." This was strange. Here she was worrying about me while her own injuries were nothing to joke about, especially with this cold causing so many issues.

Leaning down she kissed my chilled nose before moving over to my side. "Do not worry." She told me. "You will be alright, just let your body heal." She said as she lifted up my arm and got under me. She knew I was alive. This was a relief in a way. "Once you are back up and awake I will tell you what I know so for now close your eyes, and rest. Sleep." She said.

Blood lose and cold made this easy as I closed my eyes and passed out, content to follow her directions and escape the adrenaline and cold reduced pain.

Another nice chapter. I almost can't believe this was written by the same person as your very first post was. The story is much easier to follow and the writing is much more vivid. Keep up the good work!

It seems to be a weird thing that kicks up every now and then. It's why it takes so long to write, I have no control over when it hits but once it does.... I finished nearly 3/4 of that whole chapter in one go thanks to that.

Not as active as it used to be, but yeah there are still some people uploading stuff. We moved everything back to the Monster Girls <3 club though. That is why you don't see anything here anymore.
