| Claire The truck pulled up in front, coming to a stop "Well, we're here" She said, looking at Alice "Safely got you to your destination" She said, then grabbed a handgun from a secret compartment and handed it to Baron "Since you lost your own and all, there you go" She said, then looked around "Anything Im forgetting?..... nope, thats it, well good luck then, Princess" She smiled, the slight light making it visible for once. Her pickpocketing skill had already put a little business card of the 'Fallen Comet' in Alice's pocket, obviously being an invitation |
| Baron nodded and took the handgun and slid it into his holster right beside his Plasma blade. "We need to go M'lady" |
| "Yes, you have my gratitude I guess" Alice smiled as she hopped out of the car, not realizing Claire had slipped her business card into one of her pockets. She was still thinking what course of action she was going to take |

| Baron hopped out and stood beside Alice "Are you ready? this is going to be quite the task for you" |
| Claire She was watching the others exit. For a moment she felt like asking if she should come along, but the chance of her being rejected would most likely be very high, so she let out a slight sigh and refrained from doing so |
| "Not in the slightest, but what else can be done?" Looking back at Claire she wondered, she had to make allies right? "Would you like to come along?" Girl support right? And if a fight broke out then Baron hopefully wouldn't be so hard pressed |
| Claire She looked at Alice, surprised to say the least "I ehm, are you sure?" She asked, caught off guard a bit by her question |
| "I wouldn't offer if I didn't mean it, however suit yourself" she said still a faint smile on her lips |
| Claire She looked at her for a moment, then at Itami "Kai will drive you to a destination of your choice where you'll be dropped off, the cuffs will be opened from a distance when the trucks a bit away" She said, then entered a code to open another compartment, pulling out what seemed like an assault rifle and putting it on under her cloak, at her back, then hopped oit the vehicle |
| "Let's go then" Alice said turning around and taking several steps forward. |
| Claire She nodded, then followed, making sure her hood was still securely covering her face. For a moment she wondered if she should ask for payment, but then decided she wouldnt... |
| Alice walked through the archways with her chin up and long confident strides. Yet it was all an act. After several minutes of walking two great metallic doors where there and opened as they got closer. Alice stepped through bracing herself for whichever outcome was to happen. (I've no idea how many council members there are lol and I will probably be out for the night since I've gotta attend a family reunion.. Again... :,'( ) |
| As Silvius enters the room behind the pair she stops frozen in her tracks. "Princess..you need to talk with us. Your brother's ship contacted us and sent a rather strange message..even now we are arranging ships to co-operate with the Valiant..and our civilians are running into the space around us for protection. The General is doing his best to delay and scatter the fleet..If you can tell these damnable bastards what happend, you can damn well tell us..the General for no other reason than a funny feeling is prepairing to use his soldiers to sheild you if it comes to it..." The Marine says kurtly, clearly not pleased with the situation. It could be the formation of a Civilwar for no point or gain. "He is sending data on the fleets movement as it arrives. This is treasson you know?..He also would like to be patched into the council meeting with you." |
| "Wait what???" Baron asked panicked "they got a signal from the Command ship?........" Baron was in pure shock as he looked towards Alice. "Its impossible..." |
| Claire She was walking slightly behind Alice and to her left, giving off an aura of control, mostly. One which wouldnt just back down, and with that a slight bit of encouragement, she hoped. Whatever the princess would be doing, it would probably be difficult... She was looking at Siv, it seemed something was amiss, but seeing as it wasnt quite her place, she kept quiet |
| Alice looked at Baron mirroring his eyes. Hers were wide and scared yet she blinked and they were back to her usual orange. "Patch him in. I had supposed he would be present either way" Alice said in a neutral voice (Family members are here :(( cya and sorry ) |
| Looking in Horror as the line goes dead, Silv drops to her knees, unbuttoning the upper most part of her shirt, and ripping the badages underneath to allow her bust to expand, and making it more easy to breath. She looks at the pait with a look of pure hatred. "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL US! THEY JUST DROPED OUT ON OUR FLEET! THE PURPLE BASTARDS HAVE TAKEN IT OVER! I SHOULD BE THERE TO PROTECT HIM NOT HERE WITH YOU!" In a fit of rage, her metal claw arm punches into the deck repeatidly. "If he dies..I will kill you..Princess..even if it kills me." Judging by the look in her eye, she meant it. Pulling a datacard out, she throws it to her. "He's asking the Vaiant for help and is feeding data from the communcation ships...provided he lives..well.." Not wanting to talk more she walks off at a brisk pace, wanting to have space to herself. Throwing the ear peice as well towards the group she snarls. "You keep it..I don't..I don't want to hear what happens." |

| Claire She looked up for a moment. If it made it to the Valiant? If it indeed started coming here, would her crew have to play their biggest trump of all time? One which wasnt completely done yet? She didnt say amything out loud, but it was obvious something was brewing... |
| Alice took the data card. How? hiw could this have happened? Yes. She now had a second death sentence . She caught the ear piece as well in Midair. What was done was done. "Welcome to the hell I came from Mrs. You should at least have the valor to listen to your captain until the end. Or is everythinfg you've said until now just words?" Alice said formally. She didn't like this woman. Not one bit. Once she said that she put the earpiece in. "Mayday, Alice is speaking, Can anyonehear me?" She spoke into the earpiece calmy. Yet it was a fake calm. A facade. How many live had she indirectly killed? |
| Smiling a bit the commanders voice comes on. "Enter the chambers and plug in the card...see our enemy...and see that we can win..also forgive Silv..you have to understand she's been through a lot." Over the comm the sound of blaster fire can be heard, with a pause as he laughs light. "They seem surprised that I would put Repeaters on my own bridge..I have a battle to run. That datacard is a direct link to our battle fed, I'm broadcasting to all stations..may we speak soon in person, my highness." |
| "Plugging the cd in now" Alice said several seconds later once she found the computer. A great hologram appeared "status report commander" Alice spoke "how much have been taken over? How far into the ship have they infiltrated?" Her voice was firm and her face seemed serene. Yet her hands which were leaning on the bottom of the computer were clearly trembling. |
| Claire She was looking over Alice's shoulder at the feed, looking at the battle. even if her team was to depart now, she wouldnt make it in time, so she once again remained quiet |
| "He can't reply to you on that." Silv says in reply to the video. Watching the call..it was clear the whole ship was lost. After the commanders rather crude reply..the two desotryers had unleashed a collection of missiles, and security cameras were linked in showing the gassing, near suicidal tactics of his marines..tactis Silv had purposely recommended, and then for the ending, the reactor this time being disabled for sure. The view of the ship was foggy from that point on. Which given the commanders orders, was likely for the best, as he went about Purifying his ships. "Ah sorry Your Highness. I am busy with Damage Control..I ask your forgivness, that your humble servent could only halt the attack..I would rather have crushed the enemy..but we can ill affaord battle here. I will contact you later, that Data disk will forward all information on our fleet, and what else we may observe. I have to see to my men. Till we speak again." For now the voice went silent. |

| "Does that mean he's alive..?" Alice said in a small frail voice. Her whole body was visibly shaking now, and her bangs had stuck themselves to her forehead from the perspiration. It had all just kicked in. Everything. She was alone. Targeted. A girl. Probably dead in the next week. Everybody she had known had been killed. Including her brother. Everything. Gone. Yet the ship hadn't blown up. Or somehow it was still able to spread. Why? Why? Why? Her brother. He was dead. He was dead. John had died to get her off the ship. Everyone was dead. Everyone. Why was she alive? More people had just died because she didn't act accordingly. Why? Why? Why? The migraine was killing her now. |
| Silv smiles lightly at that exhailing. "He's alive, and stopped them. Right now he's taking the ships with him and doing a security sweep." Watching the battle playing out. It was short and rather onesides...though if it had went on longer it would not have been so. The old commandship was still a threat, but her hangers were smashed in, her reactor, and a number of turbolaser towers were disabled. It would be unlikely they could repair it..but this was just one run in..they were stiill out there, but humanity was bought time. More likely than not the Commander would lobby for the resources to destroy the ship in total. "Wonder where that blasted council is.." |
| Alice didn't even hear Silv talk. Her hand was now on her forehead and she was concentrating on breathing. In. Out. In. Out. How many had died now? How many people? |
| Claire She stepped closer to Alice, putting her hand around Alice's head and pressing her against her body, holding her in an attempt to calm her down |
| Itami Itami looked at the scene, he was sure now, he had been set up to be killed by Claire. Even if he did pull of the job, he would still be delivering the little girl to them captured. He had been subject to assassination attempts before, but never so near success, if Claire had accepted the capture job then he was sure they would have given her details about him. He stepped from the van, not caring, I will work for you, help you fight, he says calmly, waiting for the negative responses. |
| Claire She looked at Itami "Work for who, the princess?" She asked curiously |
| Bot: A Human sized bot walked out into the group and said "Sorry for the wait, my masters are coming shortly after reviewing all they have seen via vid cam. Please wait a little while longer" |
| Itami Itami nods, his eyes and expression calm. |
| "it's hit me.. All to quick" Alice whispered with a broken voice into clairs shoulder. Yet no tears came. They wouldn't fall. Why didn't they fall? Could she not even do that properly? |
| Claire "An assassin, out to capture her, wpuld suddenly work for her without discussing payments?" She asked, raising an eyebrow, then softly rubbed Alice's hair "Its okay, shhh" She said softly. She knew it wasnt actually okay, but for now she just needed to calm down first |
| Itami I was set up, if you had taken the capture job I'm sure instructions on killing me would have come through. I don't take kindly to assassination attempts on my own life, which was probably the most hypocritical thing said that day. |

| Claire She motioned to Itami to quiet down for now, looking down at Alice, softly rubbing the back of her head and her back, the soft comforting smile invisible underneath her hood |
| Finally Alice spoke. Her voice quivering slightly "you're warm..." she hadnt had a 'cuddle' with anyone since her mother had perished so many years ago, and even so, her mother still felt that it was 'inappropriate' to show such gests. |
| Claire She smiled a bit more as she kept looking down at Alice "And I'll stay warm for as long as you want me to" She said kindly, still softly rubbing her back |
| "How..? We didnt even know eachother until a few minutos ago.. Why do you act as if you care..? I don't understand... Where's the 'but' or the 'loop' or the 'debt' or the 'repayment'... What have you to gain?" She continued not really listening to herself. The grief had caused her to lower ALL her barriers down. In the aristocratic world nobody did anything for anything else unless there was something to gain |
| Claire She looked down at Alice "Because you need it" She said softly "And if that will make you regain yourself again, then that is more than enough for me" She said warmly |
| Itami Itami watched Claire closely, he had never seen someone in his line of work act that way before. He had seen people act that way to get what they wanted, but somehow she seemed genuine. He shook his head and wondered how the girl was doing, had she recovered? Was she still at the hospital? He decided it would probably be best to not involve her in the mess he himself was in. |
| "You're not gaining anything though" Alice repeated anew. "You could be one of Them for all I know, that's how you knew about the Flag Ship which was supposed to be blown up. That's how you knew where we would be." She stopped for several seconds "and now that I'm in your arms you'll probably kill me as well, just like everyone else.." In some fat part of Alice's brain she was wondering why shebwas saying all of this, power was information.. Until someone takes out the gun.. |
| Claire She listened to Alice's ongoing talk, as she kept holding her. The girl was confused and hurt after hearing all this news, ofcourse she woukd have to take it out somehow,and this seemed to be her way. She just kept holding on to her, rubbing her back, not really saying anything |
