someone explain photokano to me?

so, im watching photokano right now and i just finished episode 7. but now im confused, because at the end of 6 im pretty sure kazuya confesses that he loves haruka, then she says it back and they kiss. so i had assumed they started dating.

but then i watch episode 7 and it seems as if episode 6 never took place. and then at the end hikari and kazuya look like they begin to date.

so whats the deal? is this an omnibus style anime?

I got confused when I was watching it too jaja

[spoiler] The MC gets an arc with evey girl that he knows or meets after episode 6. So each episode after episode 6 he stays with a different girl.

There's no magical spell to save someone's life.
