What do you do during this season? Do you celebrate the birth of one of our prophets?

Celebrating Christmass is haram. If you want to respect Jesus, peace be upon him, as Muslims do, don't celebrate some fabricated event that was chosen to coincide with pagan festivals and copy pagan customs.

I think it's 'bidah'. Something Muhammad (pbuh) never did neither his Companions. Even though, Christians used to celebrate it in his time.

Actually, I came upon some verses from Surah-al-Maidah.

O you who have believed, do not ask about things which, if they are shown to you, will distress you. But if you ask about them while the Qur'an is being revealed, they will be shown to you. Allah has pardoned that which is past; and Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing.
A people asked such [questions] before you; then they became thereby disbelievers.
(5:101-2)

The exegesis of this passage stated the following Ahadith:
'The worst criminal among the Muslims is the one who inquired about something which had not been made unlawful, and then it was declared so, because of his inquiry.' (Bukhari, I'tisam', 3; Muslim, Fada'il', 132, 133; Abu Da'ud, 'Sunnah', 6 - Ed.)

Prophet (peace be on him) said: 'God has imposed upon you certain obligations, do not neglect them; He has imposed certain prohibitions, do not violate them; He has imposed certain limits, do not even approach them; and He has remained silent about certain matters - and has not done so out of forgetfulness - do not pursue them.'

It becomes clear from the Ahadith and verses above that we should do what we are told to do and should avoid what we are told to avoid. No further questioning is required. That is why I refrain from passing any opinion on Masturbation because it existed even in Muhammad's (pbuh) time but he refrained from commenting on it (there are a few hasan or daeef ahadith though but I'm not really sure about them) and neither did the Quran said anything regarding it. The same could be said about the 'drinking breast milk' thread in which it all, again, came down to the fact that this wasn't 'prohibited' neither was it 'suggested'.

I seen some Muslim kids in my neighbor visiting our Christian neighbors during Christmas and ask for "gifts". It made me kinda annoyed since there are instances that they (the kids) speak ill of them.

Well, that's bad parenting for you.

Nah, we don't celebrate Christmas here. With the exception of a highly westernized friend of mine, I can't think of anyone who does. Many Muslims oppose even the celebration of prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) birth, I can't see many approving of celebrating Christmas.

Most all of the people in my country, the Philippines enjoys even the Muslims Holidays since there are some are also declared as non working holidays. We also have regional holidays for places where are are many Muslims living.

Muslim businesses also benefits here during the Xmas holidays by selling fruits and decors.
