It was like they were only hanging on Lupin and their IPs. |

| DAMN. I am so hyped. I am reading the manga and it is awesome. And seeing these designs, knowing that Madhouse will do it. Well all I can say is that it will be a contender for sports anime of the year. And also great cast of seiyuus. |

| Well, with how low key this production has been and with the lack of experience from the first two seiyuus announced, I didn't think that the stall would be this good. Not to mention the studios... Wow... this is getting a much better treatment than I thought it would. Hope the manga gets licensed soon. |

| Cool, the director of Parasyte, and a joint production with Madhouse involved. Madhouse has produced many things that I ended up enjoying so hopefully this can be added to that list. |
| People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime. Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait. Take me back to the days before MAL became infested with Twitter's favorite buzzwords. |

TMS is doing a lot this season, such as Orange, ReLIFE and that new D.Gray-man. Hopefully Madhouse can pull it up since they aren't doing much at all this year. Third time, Madhouse collaborated with MAPPA for Hajime no Ippo Rising. |

| Looks like another Diamond No Ace situation, where the main studio is MadHouse & the 2nd studio mainly works as to take the extra load off. Might be long runner too. We'll have to see if kenichi Shimizu has gotten better or not since Parasyte. The other main staff is solid tho, so that'll help. I'm pleasantly surprised with the colouring in the key visual, we haven't seen MadHouse go for this type of colouring & palette since Chihayafuru. |
| Imagine a berserk anime by Yoshiaki kawajiri at Madhouse. Now take a look at Berserk (2016). YOU HAVE MY PERMISSION TO CRY. |

TMS Entertainment is the main contractor here, because Telecom Animation Films is the one providing planning support. This is likely a situation like Oda Nobuna no Yabou where Madhouse is there to help give the work a better polish. |

Yep, just saw that Telecom is doing the production co-operation & planning, You should mention that in OP. I just assumed it was madhouse in lead because of the director & animation director/character designer, my bad. Anyway, 3 studios handling it, what's with such heavy production. I guess TMS is too stacked for this year. |

| Was expecting another I.G x Madhouse since Diamond no Ace 2nd Season is ending this year, but TMS x Madhouse could work too, hopefully. I've noticed that TMS has been making lots of anime lately, especially for this year so hopefully they can keep up the quality of their works. |

| I just saw on Yaraon that Japanese Rugby football union is listed as the producer for this anime, wow. Plus I also saw that japan is hosting the 2019 rugby world cup. I guess that explains it. malki said: arsonal said: TMS may be the main contractor..but I think the studio who will do most of the actual key frames will be Madhouse..I mean look at the staff..the same goes with DnA..I.G is part of the production commitee while Madhouse isnt..but most of the staff who are working in it are from Madhouse (including the director)..and the same also goes for Oda Nobuna no Yabou..eromangasensei said: Looks like another Diamond No Ace situation, where the main studio is MadHouse & the 2nd studio mainly works as to take the extra load off. Diamond no Ace situation is different, IG & MH both are on production committee. (IG only got hired because of some sorta politics in prod committee, otherwise it's all MadHouse). Tms looks the main studio here tho. Key animation will be done at tms & shot composition, cgi, photography, art direction, etc will be done at MH - MADBOX I guess. Tms x Madhouse are close studios anyway, madhouse's first tv anime was a co production with tms :-P |

| Madhouse and TMS is getting me more excited for this. Key visual is fab as well. I'm hoping I'll understand more about rugby from this. I've been watching rugby (both codes) for years now though mainly international tournaments. Know the basics but positions, how a scrum occurs and all sorts of other rules go completely over my head. Doesn't stop me enjoying it though. Other series have done this for me on other sports. Gonna be a good year for sports anime, All Out!!, Keijo!!!!!!!!, more YowaPedal and the currently running series. Hinomaru-Zumou and King Golf next? Pretty please? |

| Just wondering how many Anime fans have played or follow rugby? Should be interesting to see this, haven't read the manga and this is the first I've heard of it. I played the game for about 15 years before retiring (I'm no spring chicken!), so of course I'll be interested, albeit with a little trepidation! It's quite a complex game and they bring in rule changes so often it can be hard to follow even as an ex-player! That said, there's a lot of camaraderie in playing 'rugger', a lot of skill, a shed load of practice, and even more fitness; so it's going to be interesting to see how it's all portrayed! I'd love to go to Japan to see the world cup, now that would be amazing! |
