| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Another intense buildup episode.  Okamura seems like dependable soldier and his words might have shed some comfort to Kadomatsu I hope. The subtle change of rain to blood red colour is a simple way to show the conflicting mind of Kadomatsu and his depression over killing people. |

| Yeah this was a fantastic follow up to the events of the last episode. The red rain at the beginning was pretty chilling indeed. I love that even though this show deals with time-travel, it feels extremely realistic |
| The aftermath of a traumatizing encounter, the bloody rainy nightmare at the beginning was a nice touch to connect the events of the previous ep to this one. Hopefully, it's not a recurring nightmare for him that'll lead to PTSD,=. Seems like the rescue operation is successful, but only for less than 200 of 2500 individuals, Yosuke being the man he chooses to charge straight to the jungle but a miracle must have been presented here since he came across Okamura, a seemingly great individual who cared for his subordinates, despite risking his life. He is to Yosuke, a man that he can aspire to be, someone that can bear the responsibility of something massive, such as actively altering reality itself without running away from it. The scene where Yosuke and Okamura shook hands together was wonderful, especially with that OST. |
