DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Wow, finished already... felt like just a bit ago that I finished rewatching Axess and saw the first episode of Stream... YESSS! FINALLYY! I'd already seen the scene where Forte deletes Slur, but that doesn't make it any less satisfying now! XD ...Can't believe it took all the way to the final episode, though. Yikes, Regal's so annoying. At least he's finally defeated. Looks like they all lost the crests, too. Maybe they won't need them for Beast anyway, as long as they can still cross-fuse? ...I wasn't expecting it to end like that. Thought Barrel would come back and stay with them for some years... isn't he going to be in Beast? Who knows at this point. Also, I love how the Navis were materialized near their NetOps! I wish they could be in the same world at times; who wouldn't wanna give their Navi a hug? |

| I was so hyped for the Duo fight, but all I got was him using anime lasers once and knocking everyone away. Oof. Glad I finished it, anyway. Let's see what Beast and Beast+ have in store. |

| This was probably the season so far with the highest highs and the lowest lows. On the flip side I was a big fan of the new characters. Not only was Charlie a charming womanizer who was able to swoon even Tesla, but side characters like Nenji were jsut so funny to have behaving like an idioit along side the multiple romantic fights and other funny moments. Furthermore, we got a lot of transformation sequences as well with so many people being able to do Cross Fusion, answering some raising questions from last season surrounding hwo would they look like considering their navis and giving them more personalities. We also got a soundtrack with songs that got stuck in my head for weeks, so that's quite commendable. What isn't commendable are the elements the story uses for narration. Time travel is a concept that is very easy to screrw up if you're not careful and the series is certainly an example considering how many instances you just have to blindly believe of it for it to make sense. By the end it's a mess and you'll probably be very confused by trying to make sense of it as well as how many power liberties some villains have for no discernable reason. I know there's always the argument that this is a cartoon but there's still needs to be some in universe logic for me to be able to let it pass. That being said, I believe the positives outweight the negatives though not by much. We'll see in the next season if Forte comes back and what gimmick will come into play. |
