| Decent chapter. Although it was pretty much a standard chapter in terms of what happened, it still needed to be drawn. I didn't expect Whitebeard to go down like this though; I was expecting more of the Marines taking him out as they all retreated, not him sacrificing himself. Though, who knows if everyone will listen though. Wanted to see more reactions from all the main people in Luffy saving Ace, but I guess that will come in time. Absolutely loved seeing Vivi again. :D And I hope we'll see more Luffy and Ace teamwork, as I think this will probably be one of the few chances we'll be able to see them fight together in the story. |

| In an interview Oda stated that he would rather avoid murder & death SCENES, not actually characters dieing in general. And there has been at least one non-flashback death in the series thus far. Bellamy was killed by Doflamingo after Skypeia. Ah, such a great moment. It starts here if you need to refresh your memory. I'm not sure if there were anymore. |

| Luffy&Ace *.* I love it! By the way they are pretty similar (like brothers xP) I think WB won't die there. He will stay on island, beat up some bad guys (lol it sounds so pathetic xP) and get away to hm... I don't know. Or if he really don't want to sail, he will be captured by Sengoku and executed (like Roger eh...^^). I hope Oda will surprise me next week. |
