Lapsed Bleach fan. Can confirm.

The bullshit ship resolutions in the manga lead me to pick up a random movie, hoping for some non-canon Ichiruki. Wasn't disappointed. The rest of the movie was pretty meh, though.

To this day, I believe Ichigo and Rukia should have ended up together. At least this movie keeps making me happy.
