| Now, that's what I call beauty in silence. :D Really amazing how the emotions seem to come out through just the drawing. And then, things flow well. Usually, dialogue helps the flow, but this one-shot manga needs no dialogue to flow naturally. Also, I really like the panels showing the difference between the photos taken when Ayano's dad is present and absent. Beautiful way to compare the past and the present. The only thing that could use some improvement is the summary. Because quiet things may need a summary for a better clarification, it's a good idea to make sure that the summary is clean grammar-wise. [A heart-warming story.] - You can omit this from the synopsis. It's readers' opinion after reading the work. Including it in the summary just looks unnatural. Watch the tenses as well. Try to stick to either just present or past tense. [AkazaAyano becomes the first runner up winner of the 2016 Photography Contest.] - You can just use [is/was] instead of [becomes]. And missing a space in Ayano's name. [After the event she recalled her memories with her Dad (who thought her Photography from the start) as she decided to continue her quest and fulfill her promise.] - A bit of a run-on/too long. You can use some commas or just split the sentence into two. Maybe you can go with this: [After the event, she remembered the one who taught her photography, her dad. With those memories in mind, she decided to continue her quest and fulfill her promise.] But that's just my suggestion, so feel free to come up with your own correction. :) That aside, big thanks for the feels! |

| Don't hate me for this... I gave you a six... Don't get me wrong, it's a heartwarming story. The way you presented each scene make it seem so dramatic that all that's left is playing classical music in the background. However, in terms of art, it was lacking something. Don't get me wrong, the background and such is perfect. It's just the characters looked a little... wavy... It didn't match the style of the background It was like two different art styles placed in one comic. Other than that, it was rather decent. ...You're still gonna hate me, aren't you? |
