| Seems like it's going to be based off the manga since it's being bundled with Volume 5 and is with new aka manga character designs. Good, it makes more sense to base this off the manga since it's the most popular version of Kure-nai by far. Much more fun than the tv series as well sans the singing episode. If it's only available bundled with a manga volume than it's obviously aimed at manga fans only, see Negima and Tsubasa Chronicles OVAs. It should be a fun standalone episosde though so I wouldn't be worried too much and manga character designs >>>>>>>>> anime. |

| OwO Kure-nai was the last anime i finished took me a year to watch 1st the op scared me off then i couldn't find good quality. so glad i finally got to watched it. can't wait for the ova now. |

The character designs were probably changed to be more in keeping with the ones in the manga (The TV series' character designs were based off the novel), suggesting it may be more Shounen-ny than the TV series, so probably not as good. I hope they keep Brains Base as the production studio at the very least. Whatever it is like, I will watch it anyway. |

Yamamoto Yamato who designed and drew the characters for the light novels is the one who's doing the manga together with the original author. Brains Base is being kept on, I doubt it will have the same director as the tv series though... many light novel and manga fans weren't happy with how he adapted Kure-nai... This is being bundled with a manga volume, it's aimed at manga fans, it's going to be based on a manga chapter as well as have some original content. |

| More than 1. The second episode isn't going to be released until sometime in December, though. Oh, and contrary to what Westlo said when he replied to me, it does have the same director (and character designer) as the TV series, but they were probably asked to keep it closer to the content in the manga. As a result, we got girls kicking butt in bikinis and a couple of other random stories. Not bad, but definitely not what made Kure-nai one of my favourite anime either. |
