 An official site has opened and revealed that manga Hajimete no Gal will be receiving a TV anime adaptation. The site also revealed the series' key visual.Synopsis Spring. The "season of love" has arrived and it seems that finding himself a girlfriend was harder than Junichi believed. To break the status quo, Junichi's friends have forced him into confessing to the gyaru, Yame Yukana. However, things do not go quite as he expected. A series of "firsts" begins! The series is drawn by Meguru Ueno and began publishing since November 2015. It's been serialized by Shounen Ace and currently has 2 volumes, with latest volume published on October 26, 2016. | Pretty mediocre manga. This is as generic as it can get. The only plus about the manga is Yame-san can be cute from time to time. Rest of the manga is forgettable. Studios like to pick up the most mediocre of manga (often trashy ones) out there. What surprises me though is the material in hand for an adaptation isn't enough. I don't see them making a full season out of it. 5/7 minutes shorts would be possible at the very best because this manga is unintelligent and doesn't have long dialogues or monologues either. tl;dr seeing this manga making its way to some people's favourites, I have already observed a minute of silence. |

| Hoping for J.C. Staff to adapt this. Dogakobo or Brains Base are also good choices. Will probably be 1-cour adapting 30/40 chapters, which is great as won't be rushed then. |

This is clearly a mindless romcom with pretty much nothing new to offer, but it's fun nonetheless. Keep your expectations low and you'll pretty much enjoy this. |

Not I'm not like this manga or anything, I enjoy the girl boldness and as for the guy, she is too good to be true, I kinda see this anime as a) some short anime - 12 min each episode b) will air a bit later and not any soon - like in Fall 2017? My guess is it will be shorts, perhaps 8-12 min length episodes. That would suit this manga really well. Being a short doesn't make it bad and TBH I think this type of manga would suit it. Shorts can be quite good, for example Yama no Susume and Tonari no Seki-kun were excellent shorts. As for Minamoto Monogatari, I doubt that would ever get a broadcast anime. It could get a Hentai! |
