Thought we might've gotten news about a second season this year, hopefully next year. It has more than enough material to be adapted (can see the game island arc being the main arc or closing arc) and as far as I know it's a very popular manga (not sure how the BD sales went).

It's comparible to Konosuba in terms of comedy imo and that's already getting a sequel in January 2017.

Well, Brain's Base usually only does a single season of whatever anime. That being said, I don't think you should expect a second season anytime soon, unless manga sales skyrocket for some reason.

No man! They have to make a second season its very rare to combine drama with good comedy. The last one equivalent was only Angel Beats.

They've done multiple seasons of Durarara and Natsume though. Yahari got a sequel and I can see it getting another. But I can see this might not be as popular as those.

...did you check the studio's that made those sequels? I said they do a single season usually, not that they do anime where only one season is made necessarily.
