From the start, it was clear that this story it's about Fumi x Sensei. But of course, she has to introduce some rival because otherwise, the plot wouldn't develop (and it would be weird not having a single boy from school interested in our lovely Fumi). Probably this is the only way Sensei can start acting, face things, and Bla Bla Bla. Did you pay attention to that scene when we're given a little boy a.k.a. Sensei being left alone by someone? Yamamori-sensei is giving us some hints of what Fumi will have to deal with... Aaaaand, the cover of volume 6 has Sensei on it! So far there aren't other characters in the volumes (completely different to Hirunaka). So, I repeat, I'm positively sure this story is about Fumi and Sensei. |

| This was the most frustrating chapter so far. I'm seriously considering dropping this manga. Really? A prince? Some random bishounen that completely contradicts the tone this manga has been building so far? I understand the need for a love rival at some point, but I definitely thought it would be Gorou. They were building to that so nicely. I feel like Yamamori Mika was pressured by her editors/publisher to introduce a very bland, archetypal shoujo guy to keep readers interested. I hope he goes away soon. Fumi & Sensei's relationship has, for the most part, been really unique and memorable so far. I don't want this to turn into HnR. |
