| ah~ i just watched this movie its amazing XD anyway ya SPOILER for what i think the ending was, For some reason i kinda think that the aunty witch was makoto from the future, time leaping back to talk to her younger self and restore the painting for chiaki. otherwise how else would she know about it and said she time leaped when she was younger >.< was it just me who thought that or is it really obvious XD also chiaki x makoto FTW!! XD |

| what is everyone else saying! xD ! theyr'e not the same person , she's really her aunt , and she has the time leaping ability because the one that doesn't know haven't read the book xD (or at least the manga adaptation from the book : \ ) , oh whell the point is she has the time leaping thing too because she qent trough the same thing when she was young ...... and about the ending , I think it was fine but , if chiaki is going to be waiting in the future with the age he's in the present (for makoto ) , makoto is going to meet him when she's older , but chiaki is going to look the same age he was when he time leaped o.O .... .....and another of my toughs is that if chiaki was in the distant future enough to crate a time leaping machine , maybe makoto is going to be dead by that time.....o.O |

| It's just a wee thought, but perhaps Chiaki was planning to return to 'the past'. He went back to the future yes, but nothing is really stopping him from getting another acorn-esk time bauble and returning to Makoto's time period. In terms of the aunt topic, after I read it I thought well I'll be damned made a bit of sense. Her aunt did say something about getting told her lover "Would be waiting," and Chiaki told Makoto he'd be waiting... I mean one could only hope, right? |
