| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Yay for some unrealistic romance development. I didn't mind it though. I expected the Teddy x Emily and Perry x Ilse - although Ilse's affection has never been fore-shadowed as far as I'm aware - pairing for some episodes now but wasn't sure if they even intended to deal with the topic. Now they did. It was a bit too obvious in the beginning of the episode imho. I guess it could have been worse because the end was still sweet. |

| I must be so dumb. I knew there were romantic seeds among the four of them, but I never knew who had feelings for whom. Those seeds finally blossomed in the 22nd episode of the anime, revealing everyone’s true feelings. Emily, the writer, danced with Teddy, the artist, while Perry, the model student, danced with Ilse, the girl who has always been in love with him. Chapeau to Ilse for enduring the emotional pain of watching your crush fall for someone else. Hats off to you, genuinely. Also, I never once dared to dream of a day when Ruth would actually be reliable. I’ve always loved Elizabeth, because if anyone put themselves in her shoes, they’d understand her, but Ruth was always unnecessarily rude, so I’m glad she finally did something nice for once. Last but not least, of course, because of Emily’s good nature, she would never do something as evil as what Rhoda always does. I have mixed feelings about that, nevertheless, having Rhoda dancing in the palm of her hand wasn’t so bad either, especially Rhoda’s crocodile tears. They were a treat. |
