While I might see the reason why they did this rather reasonable, considering the manga author got such a big backlash, it doesn't help the fact that, even before the original content was done, and despite not reading the manga at all, is actually pretty bad. I've said this before but there are tons of reasons why this show is bad, and it doesn't help the fact they pretty much went to an original direction, basically making things worse if anything, giving the biggest middle finger to everyone, and not only that but pretty much making every single one of the characters look like they're stupid, selfish, or using this for their own beneficial gain. It doesn't also help around this week how the Main female character acted, and as well as Koyuki getting rekt and still Fuuka would (quote "possibly") end up with Yuu, despite them having no actual chemistry.

I mean in some sense, I can understand why Seo would want to change this, because he got a backlash after that said incident, as far as people have said towards me that everyone lashed at him, so he wanted to do something right as well with the staff members. Despite my criticism towards the show, they could have done it in so many different ways rather than what we already have gotten towards, if they wanted to pretty much make that scene non-existent in the anime. They could have even, I don't know, PERHAPS focusing in the actual relationship between Yuu and Fuuka, and then pretty much trying to develop them, despite the poor execution this show has, or maybe rewrite everything and start from scratch while keeping certain elements of the anime there. It doesn't help, but it might be more beneficial.
