Madoka Magica Similiarities?

So after 7 episodes of this I still can't shake the feeling everytime I look at one of the characters in this show, they all look really similar to characters from Madoka Magica. So I am creating this post basically to ask if anyone knows if members of Shaft who worked on Madoka moved over to J.C. Staff and are working on this show now? I've tried doing some research but it has borne no fruit.

(I read the rules best I could but this is my first post so I apologize for any violations there may be.)

Edit: I guess I had a brain fart while typing this because there are definitely not 7 episodes out (yet). Sorry for the confusion.

7 episodes haven't aired yet. Regarding the art I've definitely noticed the girls have Hidamari Sketch-esque head shapes. Which I believe was the same design as Madoka. Think it's just a coincidence though.
