THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER.
----------------------------------------
(This is kind of a volume 9 discussion, because I read by volume usually.)

I noticed that Mariko didn't think about Shun at all in this volume. She seems to think of him less and less in each chapter. She has fallen in love with Neelam, so she would obviously think of Shun less often, but I am still curious. The only person to think about Shun at all in volume 9 was Neelam, and it was only about the ring he had given Mariko. (That scene is rather interesting, because Neelam seems to compare himself unfavorably with Shun, while Mariko has totally forgotten Shun).

I wonder if the plot in India will be the main plot, or if we will go back to the Shun plot at all. Early on I had expected the two plots to be equally important. I don't think I will be satisfied until all the mysteries are solved (and Takao Shigeru hasn't let me down yet).

I really hope we will go back to Shun plot. After all he just missing without giving explanation to Mariko and its really unfair to her (despite maybe Mariko has forgotten about her feelings to him already)

I know that India arc is a very important plot, but i hope it will come to an end soon. I don't quite like the story and why the drawing has changed so much? :(
Its just my personal opinion, but I think Neelam looks so much better before. I was totally excited when Mariko protect him from the bullet and that the author show how caring Neelam to Mariko and it continues until they were in the ship. But now in India, my excitement just go down...

I wasn't really all that surprised by the art changes. It looks kind of like her older art, in Golden Days and at the beginning of Issho ni Neyou yo. Issho ni Neyou yo had an art change in the middle like this, but it was the opposite (the angular art changing to the round art at the end.) I'm not really sure about the reason (changing assistants, perhaps?), but I do think that Neelam looked better with the round type art. It's kind of strange, because I had disliked the art change in Issho ni Neyou yo.

I don't think the India arc will last more than two more volumes (but I could be wrong.) I do hope they go back to Italy to finish up the Shun arc (Italy was passed by too quickly in the first volume). Or maybe they will go to Japan? I don't want them to go back to France, they spent enough time there already.

I am really interested in Shun's character. I'm sure he at least thinks he had a good reason for what he did. I'm wondering why he thinks that, though. I also think he didn't realize that Mariko was in love with him.

I know, I know necropost... but I really love how the story took a turn and Neeram became the love interest.

In this chapter he showed Mariko the vault and asked him if she wanted to see the chamber inside the gold chamber (I forgot the name) and he looked sad I wonder why???

I’m not reading further until it gets officially translated (hopefully) so I can buy the actually books.

Shun was really just a catalyst to the main story so I wouldn’t mind him never showing up. If they really want to find him, his brother would have known where he’d be since they all plotted to make him disappear.

Neeram is so beautiful. Pure definition of tall, dark, and handsome. I wish more mangakas would write about unconventional romance like this especially between people of color.
