So at the end of the credits a short scene is shown of 2 characters both from unadapted volumes. BUT! NO OFFICIAL CONFIRMATION OF S2.

So now your gonna leave fans hanging onto a hope of season 2 for another god damn how many more years.

Tbh if they ended the movie with no after credits scene like that then it would be less likely for a season 2 and although ill be salty, i wont have to have any false hopes but now we have no clue about the after credits scene.

There are only 2 choices.
1.READ THE BOOKS.
2.SEASON 2 TBA.

Im guessing its only to advertise the other volumes but fuck me that's a dick move.

It's possible they want to make an extended 25 episode season and need to wait for the manga to reach a certain point to accomplish it. At least if that was the case we wouldn't have waited all that time for 13 measly episodes.

there are 9 light novels already published so the wait is not because there is a lack of content.

No offence to you of course, I kinda think you get things wrongly and illogically. The point of ending credits scene(aftermath/continuation of story or in this case unadapted future chapters) are not there to tell you "we are making season 2", but simply just to tell "the story continues".

Secondly the author doesn't owe you anything and have no obligation to make anime season 2 for you just because you want to watch it. From the start anime adaption was made for those who actually read the author's book and makes readers happy for their continue support. If someone who never read the LN and gets interested by watching anime season 1, then just proceed to read the novels. I mean if you are a fan who likes the series as much as you say just the read the novels? or just wait for them to annouce adaption, thats part of being a fan. Fans yearn/hope for adaption, not ask for it.

So saying "its only to advertise the other volumes but fuck me that's a dick move." was a bit overkill from you. Writing LN is literally author's job and life, why do they not advertise their LN?

You seem salty lol.Anyway

I myself want to read the light novel. But i don't know where to get it online. And do you know if there's a english version? Since i heard the one online is pretty badly translated.

And of course i understand what you say but I will still say that if there's no season 2 coming that's a dick move.I'll wait for 4 years and if no season 2 that 'IS' a dick move.

I know the creator or the the ones who made the anime adaption isn't obligated to make a s2 but to make a 'new movie' after so many years...Will give 'many' of us hope for season 2. It's worse enough that we didn't get anything for so many years but we knew at that point that ngnl was dead. Now...We don't even know if there's a season 2.
It's pretty confusing so i understand if some could be angry if there isn't one coming out.

Oh yeah no offense meant to you

You can buy the No Game no life novel in the Amazon (Kindle Edition) in english (Just search No Game No life vol.x (LightNovel), there is up to volume 8 in there, if you want a physical copy, there is up to volume 7 in Amazon, if you are from south america (Brazil) like me, there is up to volume 8 in physical copy being sold by NewPop (A manga publisher/Distributor here in Brazil).
In other places, i don't know, but please buy and support the original release, i think in the Europe/North america there is some publishers/distributors that sell the Novel in physical format, or even amazon in their Kindle Format.

I don't think anyone translate in english it anymore after volume 6, never found a translation after that
