| Wow, I didn't expect to tear up in this chapter, but damn it hurts. Most of us get our food like Emma did until now, just there and ready to prepare/eat, but now she has to kill them herself to keep living, and this way she has to learn how to do it even if it's painful. Her eyes in the final page are the eyes of a killer. |

| Oh wow, we finally got to learn about the vampire flower, that was really nice. Emma learns how to hunt and take a life, Survival of the fittest. :( We'll part ways with the demons soon. |

| Even though not much happened plot wise I think it was a pretty good chapter. Got a little bit more development for Emma which was nice. I kinda wish this manga would focus a bit more on character building especially for some of the other side kids but oh well. Finally got information on the flowers and they're gonna have to cross the river next chapter. Knowing this manga it probably ain't going to go well haha |

| Flower reveal. Wasn't as integral to the process as I thought but the thematics of the cycle of life and the food chain is real and where human lay on this one because of demons in the mix. All masterfully put there and Emma the star of it. Loved it. |

| Musica taught the kids vital skills they needed to survive on their journey without their help and Emma learned how to hunt for game with Sung Joo's help. The weed used for the killing ritual gave her painful memories but she steeled herself by giving herself the reminder of how it's impossible to survive without taking some lives by making it their own. |

| Emma is learning how to kill (for food (for now))... I mean, I'm afraid we're heading towards a more typical shonen pattern: physical fighting, getting stronger, physical fighting, wawawa.... talk no jutsu. Let's see. If this comes a typical shonen where the main part becomes fighting and learning new fighting techniques, my ratings will probably drop from 5/5 to 4/5. In the end maybe 3/5. Am I a pessimist? |

| Should’ve at LEAST taken the older kids with her. Hunting for thirty-something kids is not a job for one person. The meaning of the flower is kind of insane, when put in the context of the harvesting of the children. |
