Well, this episode didn't waste much time getting to the scare elements.

Reminds me that anything that happens in a telephone booth probably isn't going to end up well.

Pretty good- I liked it that she was bound to fail to call her back, makes it even creppier. Be careful what you wish for!

I wonder if the end implies that Reiko made the same mistake in not calling back in time as well, since she got into an accident before this happened. If so, then that would have made things even more tragic because our main character never needed to make a call in the first place. Tomo would have come back to her (eventually) due to Reiko's missing the thank you call and dying as a result.

Calling the number in the first place means that you've screwed yourself over, since you'd never be able to make the thank you call in the first place.

Actually I think they were trying to imply that Reiko's ghost was getting revenge on the main girl by preventing the main girl from getting into the telephone booth. You can tell this also by the facial expression Reiko has when she turns around, and by the fact that the main girl starts to apoligize. "I never meant to-" as in, she never meant for Reiko to be killed by Giveback-sama.

I thought that too, but thought it would be an interesting yet tragic twist if Reiko was called the number first and got screwed in the end.

Really good episode.

I wonder what would be the ghost's reaction if the girl pulls out a mobile from her pocket and smiles back at her.

"Dab!"

Welp, now we know who the girl next to the phone booth in the credits was!

I love these episodes that involve some sort of urban legend or ritual type thing. It makes me want to try them...

Y'know, she clearly had a smartphone. Like, did everyone just forget that they're also phones? Does the supernatural require a landline? Clearly, they're not keeping up with the times like Hell Girl...

It did a really nice job of building up to a creepy conclusion. That last scene spooked me and gave out some Higurashi vibes like they said haha

Friend that screwed her over got screwed over and now she screwed her friend over back lol
