| I just finished the show and I wasn't even half way through it when I new this would be a tradegy, it had a lot of Shakespear influence and I generally enjoyed the show. But there is just one thing I'm really stuck on... Why did he HAVE to kill Cal? I mean sure, she was this way because of him and also mad as fuck at him. But in the end she was calming down and obviously in great pain. Did I miss a hint that she actually wanted him to put her out of her misery? Sure, she was drinking befor the meeting but she thought she was meetin Ein, not Zwei. Couldn't he just have talked her down, explained the misunderstanding and how Scythe Master used her? I'm not that often bothered by a plot but this really bothers me... |

| I just finished this show and this REALLY bothers me as well. Especially when Mio told him that Cal has no one to talk to and is in a lot of pain. Reiji could have handled it so much better, but decided to shoot her and is then surprised when she kicks the bucket. I don't get why Cal had to die either. All Reiji had to do was talk to her, but nope. The logic these characters sometimes use is pretty damn stupid in this show. The thing that pissed Cal off even more was what happened before she punched him. She confronted him about him abandoning her and using her. Instead of saying "Cal, I thought you were dead" he chose to say "You deserve to kill me for what I have done" What the actual fuck...that is like an admission of guilt right there. He pretty much confirmed her suspicions that he discarded her for another woman, which is not very true and because of this, it drove her down a path she could no longer stray from. Pretty stupid if you ask me. |
