Well, we didn't really see a conclusion to the story on the last episode of Chaos; Child so...

This time protagonist is Onoe Serika and not Takuru and it's also final conclusion.
Let's see how much they can cover up from VN or even better than that.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained (Girls und Panzer der Film ) / from Nishizumi Miho

So, it follows the Serika route?

I haven't played the VN yet.

I guess you can say that, but her route is true route after you done with all ending that come on title screen.

The show was such a shit show that I forgot exactly what the ending was.
At least it was better than Chaos; head, that one was even harder to follow, especially if you never played the VN.

If you don't mind, can you refresh us on the closing scene from the final episode?

Also, love your Guilty Crown reference name, such an underated show.

I guess I'm the only one that liked the Original and thought Child was crap, oh well. It's about people enjoying it, if you don't there's always another anime franchise to root for :)

It wasn't just you. I don't think the original was a masterpiece or anything, but it is a bit of a silly "guilty pleasure." I haven't read the VN, though (nor do I plan to), so I don't have the source material to compare to.

I couldn't find anything even remotely likable about Chaos;Child. In fact, I hated it (and Robotics;Notes) so much that I'm unlikely to bother with any future 5pb Science Adventure anime. Which is a shame, since I do consider Steins;Gate one of the better anime this decade (in spite of its flaws).

Thanks. The great thing about Steins is the fact the the author re worked an internet hoax about time travel, that in itself was pure genius and I owe him a few beers. We watch interesting and warm anime here, no kids stuff. Tatami Galaxy made me cry (I'm 54) for reaching back to my youth and tweaking my mind. My wife and I love Dragon Maid for the simple warmth it brings. I guess it all depends on why the individual watches anime. We are not one but many with varied tastes. Let's hope anime Novel authors keep out stripping Hollywood's mass consumption machine with thoughtful and intelligent content.

You are not alone. I loved Chaos;Head, but hated Chaos;Child. In Chaos;Child , the way the story is told is too vague, and any of the characters is hardly relatable to real life. On the other hand, Chaos;Head films one of the most consistent characters in anime history (the MC of course), the story is both emotional and interesting, and the conclusion is definite.
