| Is JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (1993) a prequel to the 2012 version or the same just not as good animation? Should I watch the '93 version first or it doesn't matter? |

| The 93 version is an alternative version of this. There is no reason to watch this one since it was completely remade. Some people do prefer some aspects of this version but in order not to get spoiled, you should start with the 2012 version and then maybe watch the 93 one after you've finished Stardust Crusaders for comparison, if you like. |
| Jojo 93 is an ova of Jojo's Bizzare Adventure part 3, JJBA 2012 is a TV series adapting parts 1 and 2 of the manga you don't have to watch the OVAs there is a more recent TV adaption of part 3 made by David production the same studio that made the 2012 anime. |
