I haven't watch this new animation yet, but judging from the pictures and PV and stuff, Kino's animation/figure looks a bit more feminine in this anime. I watched the original and I have to say I didn't know Kino is female until the big reveal of her past. I felt like they should do a better job to make her look more like a male since that was a big plot twist for majority of the series even for the people that met her.

Too feminine you say? The current world we lived in you can't be so sure about someones gender.
Like hell mate. Before you can only be identified with two genders. But thanks to surgery, rotten culture, and garbage society you can't be too sure.

There are plenty of people who still mistook Kino for a guy. Especially considering traps are on the rage nowadays.
