The show feels a lot more different compared to previous seasons, and not in a positive way

I don't know about the director. What is it you don't like about it?

Not too sure but I don't think the director was changed?

I don't think so.

But I noticed that the animation changed a bit in a negative way , don't know what happened to jc.staff

The animation was already lackluster in the 2nd season, the first four episodes of this season have been just bad.

Don't they have like more than 3 shows this season? aside from U.Q Holder?

Yes I know.

But that doesn't change anything , many studios have too much shows to produce each season but their quality of animation didn't change at all ..

Hmm well yeah.

But all depends honestly, well I dunno. But I can agree that its not going well for Soma (even though I prefer S3 over S2 because I didn't felt as excited compared to it or I had an issue with S2 a lot).

Idk if the director has changed or not but yeah I agree that the Animation is not as good as compared to the previous seasons. The voice acting and music was top-notch as usual. I guess they're saving their budget for the good stuff.

I agree. Something definitely felt off this season so far. The animation especially....it doesn't seem as ....warm?

The animation is pretty much just stills, but that's something that I've noticed since season 1. It might be a bit worse this season...

More chibii styled comedy scenes, much more emphasis on seriousness less on humor, lazier animation in general and having even more panned images.

This season took a turn for the worst, downplaying on everything that kept the show alright and increasing the bad parts. Now it's just stupid generic shounen, and the humor is worse with worse execution, doubling down.

Literally every scene is a panel zooming in or zooming out. Sometimes you don't really notice it, but then there's times where it's so awfully obvious.

the animation really got worse. more stills and chibi scenes and the ripping clothes foodgasm service is toned down a lot or no naked foodgasm at all compared to season 1 and 2

Just for the record, since no one seemed to answer the question, the director is still the same person who directed the first two seasons.
People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait.

Take me back to the days before MAL became infested with Twitter's favorite buzzwords.
