Why hasn't Leonardo learnt to fight?

I mean, he has been surrounded, for a long time, by really skilled people who can fight very well, so, why hasn't he asked anyone to teach him? He is always being attacked, he needs to be able to protect himself.
Does this annoy anyone else? Cause it keeps bugging me

Because he is not the violent kinda millenial? He only came to this retarded city to cure his sister and probably get rid of that divine vision of his, murdering everyone left and right like the rest of them was never his intention.

Leo can fight with his eyes, but he really doesn't like too. A big theme this season has been that physical strength doesn't mean everything, and too much can be detrimental. We know that Leo doesn't want to use his power for himself, but I think that Michella, or anyone in Libra would be upset with him for just letting himself be mugged and risking the possibility of injury, because he really is an important part of Libra. It really annoyed me in season 1 when he would just sit around waiting from directions from Libra to use his eye, he has gotten more proactive in actually fighting but I really still would like to see him at least not just expect to be mugged.
