Those old dudes showing up felt so random although I find their gimmicks to be pretty amusing.  Loved the RPG themes this episode. Too bad that rabbit character didn't do much. | Lots of references this episode Jonathan Joestar's famous pose from the cover of the 4th volume of Jojo Killer Queen's pose Johnny Joestar's pose The one in shorts is doing Ginyu Force Jeice's pose. I'm not sure what the other poses are. Ryuk Henshin! Kamen Rider 1, 2, and V3 Brave Perspective/ SUNRISE Stance, Sword Art Online, Gundam Seed Destiny OP poses G-Fantasy are also named after Gangan Fantasy/ Monthly GFantasy, a shonen manga magazine that comes from the same line of magazines as Mahoujin Guruguru's Shounen Gangan. They are also probably based on the characters from Saiyuki, a manga that was serialized in Gangan Fantasy. Anyone notice any other references? |
