I wan't interested in this Anime, not at all.
but after the second episode I like it,
now after the third episode I can't get enough of it.
I NEED ANIMES LIKE THIS, THE CREEPINESS, THE DISGUSTINGNESS,

when I was asking about horror animes before all I get are animes like Another or blood-c, the most horror anime as I remember were shiki beside corpse party,
but this, this is new level, I just like it.

I know I overrated it, but really, I was waiting for anime like this one, any recommendations?

Would you be opposed to reading manga from the same author? If not, I highly recommend Uzumaki. It is everything you can love from this anime and more.

If you only want anime, though not similar in tone or plot structure, I think Higurashi is a great horror anime, so you should watch that if you haven't.

I am not fan of Manga, I read it sometimes, but I don't enjoy it like Anime, especially if the Anime is well-made.
I will check Higurashi, Thank you.

EDIT: Higurashi does not have good translation for the second season, looks like i will wait until somebody get it translated.

I prefer anime too, but Uzumaki was the first horror manga I've read, and its creepy as hell. I urge you to give it a shot if you really want some of the best horror out there.

As for Higurashi, I don't know what gave you the idea that Higurashi doesn't have good translations, I watched the old fansubs back in the day and they were good. The second season is also licensed by Sentai Filmworks, and I believe is available on HiDIVE, so I don't see your concern.

yeee if you want something similiar like this, the best shoot is more reading,
1. Read all Junji Ito series (especially Uzumaki goes knows if it ever get an adaptation)
2. Read all Umezu Kazuo series (After all he is the "Godfather of Japan Horror" - and Ito respect him a lot)
3. Read all the top stories from here: https://www.reddit.com/r/shortscarystories/top/?sort=top&t=all (keep reading until you hit the 100s upvotes, they are all good)
and might aswell watch the oldskool Twilight Zone series (1959-1964)

he takes what he's lost and discards what he's won, he's every bit as alive as you and I

Oh, sorry, I didn't mention that I watch it in my language (which is Arabic)
as you can see my English is horrible as hell.

Sorry but I am not fan of reading, I don't read Manga (which has some images), so I won't read a written story, I prefer an anime.

I honestly think it deserves more episodes than just 12 because holy shit, every episode gets darker and scarier. Gaaaah. And yeah I need more of this anime, too. ;-;

Now i know why they put Souichi in the first episode. Hope their strategy works out.
