| I facepalmed when Shimomura started shooting. I thought she had a moral compass, but guess not - she's ready to kill multiple innocent people just to TRY to recruit a terrorist who killed dozens and contributed to killing hundreds, on her side. And when he refuses she just lets him walk free!?!? And Nakano, who is supposed to be the most righteous guy in the group isn't shocked by her actions at all!?!? It's like the manga author is spitting on common sense and established character personalities because he is so desperate to ship Shimomura x Tanaka. Where did her sympathy for him even came from? She did not show signs of being shocked at Tanaka's past or pity him after their IBM's bumped their heads nor did she share his resentment towards humans. This development is up there with the one where Sato boards a plane unopposed as dumb fucking shit moments that ruins an otherwise great manga. |
