I noticed that recently MAL added shounen tag for this anime I want to know why?!

They solve crimes, do investigations and save the WORLD once in a week, sometime TWICE. Is that not enough shounen material for you?

To build on Shiro, while the anime is "cute girls doing cute things", the manga is almost a subtle satire on SAVING THE WORLD within the SOL genre. Fun reading.
