I wiuldn't buy BrD by the way, the picture of those shows would gain nothing from that. What you should know? Nothing, really. It's based on a semi-parodic popular fantasy light-novéls series from the 80-90s. Oh, each series is cut in two more or less distinct stories, each story has a bunch of more comical episodes leading into the main intrigue tha ends on a couple of super-serious/dramatic fantasy. The third series is an anime-only grand conclusion. Each show is arguably better drawn than its predecessor. A couple of OAVs are based on a prequel novels series, featuring only Lina and her acolyte at this time. Hayashibara plays the lead role. ... |
