| Toei's not even bothering to hide the fact they're going to continue milking the gullible fans for their money. It's all they care about anymore. It better just be a completely new Digimon series and just let Adventure sleep off this fever dream it had to go through. |

There's a chance that Tamers won't get a tri treatment based off of first-week Blu-ray sales. For comparison, these are the first week sale figures: Adventure: 12,094 Zero Two: 3,171 Tamers: 2,034 Digimon Movies Box-set: 5,190 It's very clear what it was Toei was more focused on. |

| Based on the choice of wording, I really feel like they're planning a new series entirely (the adventure "evolves" again, a "new" project "starts"). I think if it was a sequel they would have chosen different words. If it's a sequel, I wouldn't prefer that. I'd like to see it continue (with the 02 cast being prominent figures). I think that Tri had problems, but it didn't ruin my enjoyment of the series. If we could lose the weird rapey scenes and fanservice, though, that'd be great. *Fixed a typo saying I wanted them to "use" the rapey scenes instead of "lose". Gives two entirely different perspectives lol* |

| With Tri it was confirmed that when it comes to sequels Toei just sucks, if this new project is another continuation for Adventure I'm sorry this time I won't join. Not anymore, I refuse Toei keeps ruining my memories. |

| I want an original series but if it is indeed a sequel to Tri and if they keep the same staff for this new project, then it's doomed. It might be a sequel to other seasons as well but as much as I want to see a sequel to my favorite seasons Tamers and Savers, after seeing Tri, I don't want sequels written by people who haven't written one good script in their lives anymore. Bring back Konaka and I'll have some hope. That guy knows his shit. Everyone else who worked on these movies is trash. |
