Obviously it dosen't just involve manga or anime if you became interested in this club.... or, how bout this topic: Why isn't there any Manga or Anime that has any realistic portrayals of drug use and/or addiction? Everything I've seen/read has either been sci-fi or totally infantile in its portrayal. And, if you've actually used/been around drugs, you know what I mean.... IDK, where I live, all the people who struggle with addiction/use drugs are either preppy rich college students or white trash rednecks. Neither are interested in Anime or anything "artsy". Feels like I don't quite fit the mold either way.... |
| @PuddiPuddi_x I used to live in the city, and, yeah, there's a lot more of that type of people there. I enjoyed circulating throughout that scene, but again, where I live even that is limited. You're right, the real raves are mostly gone these days. I'm trying to save up some money and get some schooling so I can move out of South (USA, that might not make sense if you're not from the US). Maybe then I'll be around more interesting people. For now, this site is pretty much my only outlet for this kind of interest. |
| Indeed. I'm kind of a social media hermit so I don't know about a lot of those social sites. I need to get out more, lol ~~~ The Netherlands, that must be nice. I'm over here in global idiot mascot land. People are starting to warm up to weed though, so at least there's that. Ah, fuck, you should take it easy with those benzos, though, they fucking suck to get addicted to, I hear. Withdrawal from benzos can actually kill you, though I doubt you're using enough for that. I'm having to learn to live with the cravings for various drugs without getting to indulge them, cause frankly I get the urge to get fucked up almost every day. I guess talking about it helps. |

I think it's beacause the topic is super taboo over there and they kinda hate them, i think the dude that made the OST for death note and kaiji is in prison for having a bunch of weed at his place, it's ridiculous. |
