Since MyAnimeList doesn't let me comment on chapter 0 I'll comment on it and chapter 1 in this review. There will be spoilers for the review below, but only of the current and previous chapter, and the prequel, Kengan Ashura, so watch it before reading the review.

Chapter 0 is a perfect introduction to this new character, and leaves so many questions about who this Narushima Koga guy is. At the beginning of the chapter he seems like a simple guy who doesn't believe in martial arts, all the way until the end of the chapter. Where does he know Ohma from? It seems like he's got some business with him. Is he perhaps a pupil of a Niko Tokita? I'll for sure keep reading this with interest.

Chapter 1 starts with the mystery of Yamashita corporation, and sets Kengan Omega 2 years after the ending of Ashura. Seeing Kazuo once again brings me memories of the prequel. In fact, Koga himself being unable to detect him when Kazuo gets next to him is a perfect representation of how strong he's become since the beginning of Ashura (Though it's mentioned he doesn't have any aura, who knows what that means since I'm reading the english version). In fact, I love seeing Kazzy have such a huge analytical prowess he's able to guess Koga knows karate. I can't stress this enough, but seeing the scaredy cat Kazzy in Ashura's first chapter and comparing it to this figure makes me feel proud of him in a sense.

Outside of Kazuo's character, I liked seeing other fighters and their evolutions, especially in their physical aspects. Not only that, but the appearance of Gaoh Ryuki (Just like Niko's master!) at first made me think Ohma was back from the dead. He's gotta have some sort of ties to Tokita himself, but I can't picture what at the moment. To sum it up, this chapter has me super intrigued about what's going on with all characters, especially with this Gaoh Ryuki guy, and I specially loved Kazuo Yamashita completed his arc as a protagonist, and is now a mentor who has learned how to use his eyes to analyze fighters just like his ancestor did.

Yamashita radiates aura. The contrast between him now and his self from chapter one of Ashura is crazy.
