| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- So, although I love the art in this manga, especially in shots like when Mako asked why the boss was in a rush or the page where Tatsuhiko was amazed by the amount of girls during Golden Time, it can be slightly off putting. Certain panels like on page 106 can have really weird looking proportions which is common for unimportant establishing shots and the likes. Also, the super serious art like Hideyoshi's face when he deleted the contacts comes off as so melodramatic its comedic to me which I don't think is the point.. Anyways, this was a nice chapter. Tatsuhiko used his(aka Mako's head) to scout the backstreets and catch the girls who don't want to run into scouts. Yousuke used his cute looks. And Hideyoshi used hilarious force, kicks wall to block girl off- PICK ONE OF THE THREE, NOW, INTERVIEW TIME!!! That said, it feels weird that last chapter we learned about how the scouts who made it this far know whats going on and eat the noobs up like breakfast but if that's so I feel Tatsuhiko shouldn't have been the only one with the idea he had. Him getting the most people feels weird to me. I had expected 'executive' to not be the same position of Seki and Mako and now that I realize it is I agree with Seki and Mako's outrage. It's starting to make sense why Mako was so mad too. The boss is scared of being beaten out by Minerva and due to that he's making some seriously fearful and rash decisions like absorbing Harem and now promising to promote some schmoe for doing nothing just to keep the company alive. The Tatsuhiko sleeping panel was adorable, too bad it was ruined by Hideyoshi stealing his phone and playing dirty some more. It was still nice to get that jab in on him after he was bragging he got more girls than Yousuke and Tatsuhiko earlier though, "how many appointments did Hideyoshi-chan get???". Plus, all things considered, such a simple minded, aimless lad like Tatsuhiko who really doesn't understand the business isn't the best executive anyways. |
