| Maruko certainly went on an adventure with Pusadhi, and that was quite an island they went to. Pusadhi will really miss Maruko, and when Maruko realized that she'll probably never see Pusadhi again, she began to cry, which made me very emotional. Maruko brought back presents for everyone, and because her grandfather didn't ask for a specific present, she got him a tribal mask, which kinda weirded him out, lol. |

| Pusadi is a bit crazy. Leads Maruko into a dark cave on an island where no one knows where they are, then jumps into a swiftly flowing underground river. Maruko follows and is swept away, nearly drowning. Pusadi is all smiles, shouting, "Maruko, だいじょうぶ！” This is one of the reasons why little kids shouldn't be unsupervised. I still can't believe that Maruko's parents let her fly to a foreign country and vacation all by herself with only strangers to watch over her. Pusadi was so sad when Maruko had to leave. Maruko assured her they'd see each other again, only to later realize on the plane just how far away Japan is. At least she didn't have to sit next to that weird guy again on the flight home. Interesting that the plane is now correctly named Pan Am. In the first episode it was called "PanUp" for some reason, then at the end the tag on her bag said PanUp again. Maruko gives out souvenirs... wow they really let a kid buy a big bottle of booze. That mask she bought for her grandpa, lol. |
