| Our sadodere Nagatoro showed quite a bit of her deredere side when she decided to defend Senpai, it only further supports the view of her being genuinely concerned for the beansprouty Paisen and the club he cherishes. Also either she got a little jealous of Pres or her sticking with Senpai is a classic example of "Hypocritical Heartwarming" trope which basically means that only Hayacchi can "mistreat" him. Nagatoro saving Senpai and his club certainly will make them get closer to each other however the situation Senpai is currently in doesn't look too peachy for him. Even if he is exceptionally good at drawing/painting he only has a week to create his display plus he has to compete against the rest of the club. That means he is at a serious disadvantage if he has to do it by himself. Though it is safe to assume Nagatoro, or maybe the rest of the crew too, will lend him a helping hand. I mean she roped him into it and it was kinda her fault that Pres wanted to disband the Art Club so she has an obligation to help Senpai. Anyway we are already three chapters into the "Cultural Festival arc" and things seem to be getting more and more interesting. Looking forward to more of it as much as I do to seeing the continuation of Senpai tutoring Gamo-chan and Yoshi and witnessing all the hijinks that will come with it caused by Hayacchi's jealousy. |

| Finally some type of different interesting conflict to the story. Damn, the president is willing to disband the club! Nagatoro has a good point... Ah, so the president is still an active president the club even though she somewhat quit. Interesting battle the president proposed. If he wins alone in the display against the club, she won't disband the club. I expect that he'll win with the help of Nagatoro but I wonder if he'll win with how predictable is seems for him to win. Interesting new conflict, but I still miss Senpai and Nagatoro's more intimate alone progression. |
