| You should see minimum the first season of Index to have the world context and see the events that happen to Accelerator (This anime could be said to occur between seasons 1 and 2 of Index). In case you want to go deeper, there is also Railgun, where in the second season you can see a little more of the past of Accelerator. |

| I was wondering this as well. I didn't like Index at all and dropped it quickly, but I've watched both seasons of Railgun. So I should be good to go, right? |

Yeah you should be fine, in fact if you seen Railgun you pretty much have enough background for the show, since the accelerator anime takes place after episode 6 of the main series season 1. |

Well no, Accelerator is supposed to take place after episode 20 of the first season of Index. Imo, he still should watch the 19th and 20th episodes of Index so he can have the full background with the Last Order stuff. Though Railgun S does develop Accel pretty well. |
